Washington DC Tribal Meetup (Bi-Monthly)

Continuance of the DC Meetup thread as this becomes a bi-monthly Tribal Meeting.

Currently the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month but may change in the future

The main organizing venue for meetings is RVF using the PM system. Meeting details will not be posted publicly and will generally occur on a weekday early in the week (Monday or Tuesday) in central, metro-accessible DC.

Members with less than 50 posts (and not repped or referred by a senior member) may not be invited unless vetted beforehand. This also means it's not okay to bring a friend along.

Based on past experience it's good to have some basic guidelines. There will also be a certain degree of general etiquette expectations:

1. No posting of the venue online/offline or to any social media platforms (including facebook, twitter, instagram, swarm/foursquare, etc.).
2. Avoid PUA lingo. This isn't a "Lair", just a meeting place for like-minded men.
3. Do not refer to other guys in public by their forum handles/names. The exception here is during introductions and if someone prefers to not use their real name (you weirdos!).
4. Don't show up drunk or get completely hammered during the event. No explanation needed.
5. No pictures (unless agreed upon beforehand). Any pictures taken by me or other senior members will have faces blacked out.
6. Be presentable. This doesn't mean you have to show up in a three-piece suit but have some sense. A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn't show up to a date as you are, don't bother.
7. Early on, expect more conversation between the men. This means it's generally frowned upon to show up and start hitting on girls. Later on if it fits the general mood and there aren't an overwhelming amount of us we can go with that plan or jump to another venue.
8. No cock-blocking. For the newbies, this includes not going after a girl any other guy(s) from the group is or was just engaged in a conversation with. It also means not to "hover" around too close during another member's conversation. Basically, use some common sense.
9. If you want to wing for another guy, ask beforehand. Don't just jump into a conversation uninvited.
10. No women at the meetings.
11. No commercial activity or sales pitches.
12. Be courteous and have fun.

Anyone who violates any of these may be asked to leave the venue and depending on the severity may not be invited back again. So far, there have not been any issues.

Newbies, feel free to introduce yourself in this thread and start getting your post count up.

Be sure to respond in the thread or PM me if you are interested in attending. You can subscribe to this thread by clicking the button at the very bottom of the page for updates and new posts.

Also glad to see that the group is becoming more of a regular thing. Can't make it to this next one, but things should really clear up on my schedule as we move towards November.

This was used a lot when I was young and really into the underground scene. I would invite girls to come back to listen to Fugazi records.
This is the first time in recorded history that Fugazi was used to remove panties.

Sidenote -- I saw this was move from Meetups to travel. Could it be moved back? I mean, as a DC person, I look at the meetups folder for local meetups, not the travel folder.

For the guys who have been to the last couple of meetups, same time (6-9PM) and place tomorrow. For everyone else, I will be sending you a PM with the location. If you have any questions or did not receive a PM, feel free to reach out to me.

My mistake. I didn't know it was set like that. Apologies for blowing up your pm box. Hopefully tonight was a strong event and I will be sure to make the next one.

Good tribal meeting last night... a mix of new faces and old. Afterwards a few of us went to a club that had an open bar, but not much in terms of girls. At least the drinks were free.

(I'm in DC currently. Due to a family issue I'll be here for a few months and will help Gmac out with the meeting if he needs it.)

Just letting you guys know that I'm going to be in D.C. later this week and with Gmac's help, I'll be holding my own meetup this Thursday, October 29 at 7pm. It will be a more public event open to my own readers as well as RVF members, but I'm taking every precaution I can to protect your identities.

If you're interested in attending, PM me and I'll send you the details. I'll also be posting an article on my blog tomorrow with more info.

I saw Roosh out on U St over the weekend. If it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't have believed it was him. I would have assumed it was someone dressing as Jesus for an early halloween party.

Same place as last time gentlemen, however based on some feedback I'm pushing back the start time 30 minutes to make it easier on everyone for parking.

6:30-9PM. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Sorry to everyone for the miscommunication. I had sent out a few PM's with the Monday date, and I realized that was not clear in the thread. Moving forward I will send a group PM to all the regulars.

Sorry I haven't been to the last few. Been adjusting to a new spot and not happy with my current situation. Will do my best to get to the next one.
