Something to say on public transport

I never know what to say to these girls. Like the other day on the DLR, me and this quite fit asian girl, we were eyeballing each other before the train even stopped at the platform (I was already on). She gets on, sits opposite me, and keeps looking at me, playing with her hair, phone etc. I wanted to say something, just didn't have a clue what! I hate missing these opportunities...

"Excuse me, do you know if there's a pet store nearby?"

Or any other random store

You have to be more brazen. It's OK just to say "hey I think you look nice, what's your name?". At the very least you then have a functional opener, and if she was already eyeing you that really is enough. You can work on something more nuanced later, if necessary.

As a start just ask for directions, later make your intent clear.

London is more tricky though on public transport people are just generally cold as fuck. You'd be surprised though what you can pick up, if you go through all the other cold bitches.

I'll echo what's been said already. The opener is ultimately irrelevant. Just say hello and ask how the day is going. If she is interested she will answer in a way that will keep the conversation going.

"Excuse me do you know if this is a streetcar named desire? I'm still not so sure even though I'm inside.."

catch eye contact with her with a smile. If she smiles back, then open with just a "hey" *with a friendly smile*

If she says hey back, then you can open the conversation by asking something pointless like "do you get the tube often?"

It gets sentences moving atleast and naturally im sure you;ll know what to do after initiating some kind of talking.

Like others stated, the opener doesn't really matter, especially if she was eyeballing you. A simple "hey, what's up ?" will do or my favorite on public transit is, "what are you listening to?"

the problem is when there are many people around that start to look at her and wait for her response, then the bitch gets scared because of what will people think about her and it's over. All these old people look at you like you're a pervert if you try to start a conversation with a random bitch.

You have a surprising amount in common with other passengers during strikes, delays, the Rugby World Cup, etc-everybody's in the same boat so you can chat about it, make jokes and cut through the initial awkwardness.
I realized this firsthand over the weekend; a girl next to me complained about the wait for a crowded train to set off, and I joked 'if they ask you to show your ticket, ask them to show you a train first' and she laughed, it broke the ice, we chatted, but I got off before her.
I kicked myself when I got home.
Don't know what (if anything) I'd do in this situation but lately I try to look for something in the environment I can ask about or point to.

As a guy taking the tube in London , I feel like the disadvantage of opening when your still on the tube is that :

1. Everybody around you is going to stop what they're doing and listen . That may not affect you but it'll probably effect the girl .

2. When the tube is actually moving , it gets pretty loud to the point where you actually need to shout in order to be heard .

These two reason make approaching on the tube a bit tricky for me , so I wait until she gets off , spit game on the platform , and then wait for the next tube to continue my journey .

I've had quite some success with this in recent times so you might want to give it a shot .

Was on the subway this morning here in NYC. Don't ride too often, but goddamn people are so cold. Did see a cutie and said hi, she said hi back... but too many people on to have an actual conversation, the look of death people give is insane. Got off on the same stop and she walks up to some dude she knows and greets him, so i just head out. First opening for me in NY since being overseas for more than 5 years. I gotta relearn how to talk to chicks here, hard to gauge shit when i'm so used to open and warm responses vs the cold bitchy attitudes.

Will try some additional openings throughout the week and report back. Dominicanas, Boricuas, Whites, Blacks, Asians all around me.

In NYC I've used the line

Who in the hell designs these seats ? My ass is killing me. Then, I would proceed to ask her how her day is going...

I usually say "take care of those titties for me" to young women on the subway. Try it. They will never forget you.

Nice shoes, wanna fuck?

Joking aside. Like other members have said, it doesn't matter what you say, just say something. 90% of men will not say a word to the girl even if she eyeballs you.

Yeah this is the most important thing. I think men also need to cultivate or prepare automatic responses when a chick eyeballs them. A chick eyeballing you, or showing any initial interest or enthusiasm whatsoever towards you, is the strongest lead you'll ever have. Girls only do this when they're both looking for a man and you pass their looks threshold.

However because it usually happens so suddenly and unexpectedly, by the time you've psyched yourself up to approach, or thought of 'what to say', the opportunity has gone.

For this reason I'd recommend less spontaneous guys to prepare a set course of action when they get eyeballed by an attractive girl, for every place that might happen, and then automatically execute it before they have a chance to think.

E.g.:
Eyeballed at a bus-stop. Immediately ask "Excuse me does this bus go to London?". Chit chat. Ask for number comfortably before any interruptions (e.g. the bus arriving).

When I first started the game I was doing a lot of indirect openers because I lacked the confidence to state my direct intentions straight away .

This meant that sometimes oppertunities would not be taken because I coudnt think of a plausible reason why i would run down the street to catch up with a girl just to ask her where she got her bag from / directions to the nearest xyz .

Nowadays I go direct and it's much easier for me . I have two openers that I can use in most situations .

" this is gonna seem random , but I saw you over there and you looked really cute / I loved your style , and I wanted to introducemyself / talk to you "

I feel that even if you prefer indirect game , you should have at least one direct opener to fall back on if you can't do your usual direct openers .
