For those of you who don't know, anyone can search Craigslist "casual encounters" without having to click on the subcategories.

Have you had any success doing that? I was browsing through those ads the other day and was wondering how many of them were prostitutes or some other kind of scam.

It's more difficult, but still can be done. I've asked some women who put up legit ads how many messages they got, it's always over 100 in an hour (it doesn't even matter if they're fat, America's that bad lol). So much of it is about timing. Back in the day, you could place a well-written ad (assuming you're in good shape) and probably count on 3 or 4 replies from fairly attractive women. It attracts a very broad spectrum of society.

Today, you'll mainly get replies from men (stating no men seems to bring in more for whatever reason) or BBW's with inflated egos.

It can still be effective, but it's not what it once was. The average woman in the US has so many more options at any given time than a high SMV man, unless that man is at least a B-list celebrity.

That's one of the main reasons why I never really did online dating in the United States (I want to start doing it abroad, though). The girls probably get so flooded with responses that you could look better than all of them and have better written communication skills than all of them, yet still just get lost in the shuffle. It's the same reason that I say responding to job listings is a waste of time. Employers get so flooded with resumes that you could easily be the best candidate, yet rarely, if ever, get a response. Both girls and employers do have to pick somebody, so you always have a chance and I agree that timing is very important.

Part of the reason is that online dating is more mainstream now. Geolocation apps are the new online dating. Facebook & instagram are full of orbiters. There's more women online than before, but also significantly more men, and anyone who has seen the Jonathan Soma singles map knows that means a lot more men.

Guys who were previously against it are seeing it as another viable option. You simply can't daygame all the time or be in a club 4 nights a week unless you're visiting Vegas.

Nature has a simple solution. Have a war. Kill 50-100 million men. Ratio problem (and unemployment too) solved.

Whats your guarantee as a perfectly healthy man to avoid death on such a scale?

They send the best off first and then come for the weaker ones.

Also, hypothetically lets say the majority of the losses came from huge countries like India, Nigeria and China.

I doubt you would see much of a gender difference at your local happy hour in Des Moines,Iowa or Toronto.

Right now, there's a woman (real ad) in my town asking men to send her pictures of themselves in underwear, then she will choose the one she finds the hottest to request more pics from, and if she approves of these as well, he finally gets a pic of her. Describes herself as cute and in shape but could stand to lose a few. Simply not being fat is an achievement for a woman in the US, as everyone here knows.

I messaged her using a fake pic just to ask how many replies she's gotten. Since last night, 784, over 700 with a pic. Says a lot of them are in shape and that she has hundreds to choose from in a span of hours.

Basically, we're at a point anyone in the US (assuming it's not a rural small town) can put up an ad on craigslist as a woman and receive nude pictures from hundreds (even thousands) of straight horny men across town. I wonder how many gay men go this route just for fun to see who replies. Also, pranksters, bored weirdos, etc, possibly even law enforcement just to see what men are more liable to fall for a sting.

The average woman posting no pic with a poorly written ad can receive hundreds of replies, regardless of whether she mentions "in shape, curvy, BBW". Even fat women in the US are afforded a life of sexual abundance to levels they need to swat away messages constantly. A man, conversely, even with good pics & a well-written ad can expect a maximum of 3 or 4 replies if that.

It's a situation of hundreds vs singles, and those 3 or 4 replies have hundreds of men after them (or more since it's likely they've posted on craigslist themselves).

Whether it's been done intentionally or unintentionally, America has created an unstable society that no political candidate will ever care to address.

Now there's a woman (real ad, claims to be in shape & blonde) asking guys to jack off into a cup in a public bathroom at her apartment complex that is rarely used past midnight. She will pick up the cup early in the morning. Says in the description "Hurry guys I got over 50 offers for loads last time I did this in 20 minutes".

So, there's men are so desperate that they'll jack off into a cup for the bizarre sexual gratification that their j*zz will be near a woman and possibly make contact with her, but they won't actually be there.

No wonder American society is so off its rocker these days.

Holy mother of fuck so not only are guys deliberately hollering at girls with incurable STDs, but they are also basically asking to get spermjacked too.

We actually legit need to fix this problem.

These men aren't real competition.

Come on, guys looking for herpes, guys looking for obese women, guys jerking off in cups, these "guys" aren't competition.

Lift, make money, read Bang, get skills, and these migrants/chumps/orbiters/omegas become hilarious.

THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT PUT UP A FIGHT IN GETTING GOOD LOOKING WOMEN. Good looking women hate these dudes.

I can't even understand the whole mentality of orbiters. Are they trying to bang the girls they orbit or are they trying to have some kind of platonic relationship with them? I don't really have male friends. If I have a female friend, sex is involved in some way. It either happened in the past and I like keeping her around or it is currently happening and will continue to happen in the future.

Their mentality is simple. They hang around the girl waiting for her to get dumped by her outlaw biker. And when she does, he's there to catch her. He hopes that he'll get to carry her off to his bed, but 99.99% of the time he winds up dusting her off and helping her onto the back of the bike of the next outlaw biker.

Based on what I've seen, a lot of orbiters don't even expect to get laid by the dame they're orbiting. They're just after any kind of female attention and by the looks of things, some of them even want to be "one of the girls".

I don't get it, there is no real observable statistical gender imbalance in the US, except for certain areas like Silicon Valley that are flooded with engineers, or Alaska with oil workers or fishermen.

Maybe the problem is that you have a lot of male 3s or 4s not settling for their female equivalents. Maybe there is also the age imbalance, with 40something men hitting on younger women as well as men their age.

In US colleges these days, where women outnumber men (around 55-45 or even 60-40), coeds are having a hard time finding boyfriends.

Your assumptions are incorrect. Please read this article and look at the gender ratios for 18-34 age range (which majority of Roosh readers represent). Unfortunately all large metro area's in USA have an overabundance of men. See this article and map: http://www.citylab.com/housing/2015/02/w...en/385369/

If you take out the old, the fat and obese, the freaks, the insane, the reality is that young, minimally attractive women are far outnumbered by the sea of men of all ages and social classes that pursue them.
