Should I switch to diet drinks?

Coffee is a sugar-free energy drink.

Don't underestimate the habit-side of this equation.

I love Red Bull and Coke and sugary drinks, but I don't drink them because I could form the habit of drinking them every day. I currently have a coffee drinking habit, which I'm ok with.

Don't buy them. Once you buy them you've lost the battle.

I should say, if you're like me. Currently I snack on peanuts every morning at work. Why? Because I started eating peanuts every morning. I eat a cliff bar at work. Why? Because I started eating a cliff bar at work every day.

If you change that thought, if you decide to cut it out, you'll change the habit and it will be easy not to drink.

I used to spend $4 every morning on an energy drink or two a few years back. I bought an $8 coffee maker and learned to like it black. I suggest you do the same.

I like coffee too, but it's so hot here in Florida during this time of the year that I prefer a cold drink. I'm planning on replacing my energy drinks habit with iced green tea.

Take your leftover coffee everyday and freeze it in ice cube trays, then use them to make black iced coffee.

I don't know much about the health claims but one things for sure, it will stunt your weight loss from personal experience. When I was a fatass I used to drink regular pepsi but when I decided to lose weight and take out what was keeping me fat, I started losing weight. I went from 265lbs to 230lbs however I never loss any more weight after that and that was due to me drinking diet drinks.

I then decided to drink water and If I wanted to drink something that had that soda feeling, I would buy a ton of selzer, they have different flavors as well. Long story short, I started losing a ton of weight with the switch. In terms of coffee, I use Xylitol, a better alternative to splenda.
