Making Money By Helping People Become Conversational In French

As the title says I want to make some side money by helping people become conversational in french. I grew up speaking french, and I plan to help people become conversational by helping them practice there french by speaking with me. We can do it in person, over the phone, or Skype. Whatever the person feels comfortable with.

I plan to charge $20/hr I don't think that's too much?

I've never done any freelancing before. My question is how would I handle the payments? Would I use paypal, which I don't really want to use because they will charge me a fee everytime money gets paid to me. I want to the person to feel comfortable giving me money beforehand before meeting so he doesn't feel like I might cheat him because he can just take it with the online payment service and say hey this guy didn't do what he said he would give me back my money.

$20/hour would be too much for a web service. In person in an expensive city not so. You can still run the payment through a webservice, but if I'm paying $20/hour it would have to be in person.

Yeah I was planning to do it in person, I was just wondering how comfortable people would feel meeting up and paying me in person.
