Getting to Central/Eastern Europe

What is the most cost effective way to travel from London or Barcelona or Amsterdam to Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania etc.?
Are there any cheap airlines that specialize in traveling to those countries?

Good stuff. Maybe we can throw this into a travel resources thread and sticky it somewhere?

I would check 'easyjet' or 'ryanair' but if cost is your main concern and time is not as big a factor, look into the bus system. i did london to barcelona by plane and by bus. I did the bus first, but never did it again as I lost more time on the bus and it's a pain if your a taller guy (I'm 6'1"). It was light on my wallet, but I wouldn't recommend it if you value time and comfort. I also bought cartons of cigs in Spain and came back to sell them to Brits for half UK retail which paid for my next trip.
