I saw her about 7-8 years ago in New York fairly close up with her husband and was pretty stunned to see just how good she looked...it was almost like Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover deja vu.

Here's an amusing fact I just discovered: Paulina is a mere two years older than Ric Ocasek's son Christopher.

I knew Chris had made records in the late '80s, so I looked him up. According to People Magazine, Chris was 22 in 1989 (source here).

Paulina Porizkova, who Ric married in 1989, turned 24 that year since she was born in 1965.

At the time, I don't remember there being any fuss or negative news coverage regarding their age difference (which is around 16 years since Ric was born in '49). Had Ric tried to do this today, he'd probably have to deal with all the crap Robin Thicke is taking for his younger girlfriend.

Ric and Paulina have now been a couple for a quarter of a century while "age appropriate" media darlings Kurt and Courtney imploded almost immediately. Kurt might be considered a genius by critics, but who was really the smart one?
