Are there any good holiday spots in Norway that have lots of beaches?

Basically I wanna know whether there are any good beach cities in Norway that are ideal for a summer vacation...

Given that it's on the same latitude as Alaska, Greenland and Siberia, probably not. [Image: wink.gif]

To give you a serious answer, I actually think there are beaches worth visiting in Norway, but the swimming season is very short.

I think the best beaches in the world are in the USA in Arizona.

I go every chance I get.

Stavanger has the benefit of warmer water due to the gulf stream.

Even with the gulf stream warming effect, it's still pretty chilly.

It's relative. It's 70 here and I have the heat on and wearing a jacket.

Lake Havasu, Arizona is flooded with spring breakers as we speak. Here are some examples of what it looks like:

Copper Canyon, Lake Havasu

If high culture is your thing, I recommend a bigger city like Scottsdale, Tucson, or Tempe. But if you want to rack up notches, Lake Havasu is already warmer than Stavanger will be on its warmest day of the summer, and is chock full of girls who are not only tickled pink to be out of all those clothes they've been wearing in places like Minneapolis and Zanesville, but want nothing more than a good time. Let's show them one. Bring party favors and astroglide.
