For those of your considering graduate school, it could also be a gold mine. This is even more true if you are an older student who is part-time/evening. I remember taking graduate coursework at both American University (in DC) and Towson University (in Baltimore).
Side note: I used those courses as transfer credits and finished online through University of Wisconsin.
Still, those undergraduate chicks gave plenty of eye contact like they KNEW you were a graduate student. Of course, you are coming to school from the 9-to-5 so you bookbags and whatnot looks more polished/expensive. And I knew the following reply to a chicks question would also get attention.
Chick: what class are you taking?
Me: Computer Science 715
After some more chit-chat, somehow a phone number would be given to me. I might not have always liked the outside quality and usually did not call, but I sure loved the attention.
