This should be an adage for those who have their mindset on a movie career, work there but don't play there.

I guess for lizards their perceived value is almost directly linked to their beauty so surgery is prolonging that value.

Can't even see the resemblance between the pictures. Would this be considered a botched job? Some Hollywood plastic surgery is a huge benefit, such as Arnold, but so much looks like a bad mistake.

I think plastic surgery often looks exactly that: plastic. It looks like their face is made of playdoh, instead of looking like a natural human. I think the best use of plastic surgery, other than repair from accidents or clef palate, is to remove excess skin from weight loss. I've seen before and after pictures. It won't make a 50 year old look like a 20 year old, but it will make them look like a more attractive 50 year old.

Uma Thurman was one of the few actresses (including Charlize Theron) that could stand on their own acting talent. She was pretty good in Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill and there was no reason to do this hollywood hatchet job on her face.

She had enough credits to her name to age into a Meryl Streep type career.

she was a good actress but I never considered her hot, she now looks disgusting. I would say there must be something poisonous in the movie industry but our Dames over here have just accepted aging quite gracefully with minor adjustments.

Women don't really hit the wall like we talk about here, as in, it's not a result of ageing.

They're replaced by alien imposters - imperfect replicas. Most in their late 30's, some earlier, some later.

Their body composition isn't quite compatable with Earth's conditions, Uma being a prime example.

She had that runway model look. I think she got her start doing catwalks which makes sense. Those model types, few are smokeshows, but by default can't be dog ugly. Its some weird mix of them being extremely attractive but not hot or ugly. If you walked around with Uma on your arm there likely be a hotter girl in the room but Uma would get more attention.

She was attractive and hot but had a quirky and goofy look from big features like her lizard eyes, if you photographed her the wrong way it wouldn't turn out good, and she always would of looked better in person. Its a shame because she had a run for a bit where broads like her and Heather Graham were the hottest girls of the late 90's. Uma's body was great, she was rack thin, long legs, with big tits.





I also agree that she had legit skill. Work dries up for older women but she should of been patient to age a bit more and be like Streep. Or you put the ego down and take roles to keep you relevant. I don't think Streep ever takes long stunts off, she will do crap movies too until the good roles come her way and nobody faults her for it.
