Example of turning a disadvantage to an advantage

Example of turning a disadvantage to an advantage

So today, I approached a woman at the bookstore and after a few minutes, she asked about my cochlear implant. I explained a bit how it works and how it helps deaf people like me.

While it has its disadvantages, it can be turned ito an advantage within te context of game. Here's how it went:

Me: yes I can hear a little bit but I also read lips
Her: oh that's cool
Me: right, i do it all the time, like constantly. It's why I like my women to wear cherry red lipstick, you know...
Her: *raises eyebrows*
Me: ... because it makes me want to... *pause - lips slightly pursed* ...pay attention.
Her: *throws head back and laughs*

I think she thought i was gonna say kiss [Image: smile.gif]

But you see what i did there? Instead of viewing my deafness as a liability, i flipped the script a bit...

Edit: a bit of a disclaimer - i thought this up only a few days ago and field tested it only once. So i'm not declaring this morsel of game an automatic panty dropper.
