i ran into her at the grocery store after not seeing her for four years(since high school). i insulted the way she talked to her sister. i asked her if i knew her. she immediately said my name. she said i looked different and in a good way. i asked if she wanted to get together, she said yes. she gave me her number. then she asked me if i remember her name. i said "ya its blah-blah" and left.

i had an oblivious crush on her back in the day

this was on sunday, its wednesday now.

i was probably gonna text her tomorrow(thursday) and tell her to text me back so we could have a chat. then see if she wanted to get drinks after a couple of texts.

does this sound good??? she isnt some dumb skank that means nothing to me.

(i reckon this is enough information, im probably way over thinking this, but I REALLY DO NOT want screw this up)

With text game, don't overthink it. Send her a text asking her how she is and ask if she wants to hang out after she replies. Keep it simple and just make plans, definitely don't try to build attraction.

SIDE QUESTION::: how soon should do you guys usually follow up?(and not just after getting the number) i can be patient(i waited til the 5th day after i got her number to text her). But I usually have no f-ing clue as far as 3 day rules, etc. are concerned.

Anything between 2-4 days is fine. Any sooner and you seem over-eager, any later and you start to lose momentum. For other response times, be unpredictable but in general take a little bit longer to respond on average than she does. You should really buy Bang, Roosh does an excellent job of breaking down all of the most common situations including text game.

update: i asked her out 1 more time and continued to text for a couple weeks. she barely gave IOI's and always texted back but never initiated conversation.(i didnt radiate DHV to make her WANT me) whatever.

i cut the cord. and it mega-sucks that i didnt getta bang her, at least she is a mega butterface doomed for mediocrity.

this is really to protect my ego, fuck! i am weak!

Same here. Before I deleted my facebook account a few years ago, I was constantly being 'friended' by all the women from high school and they were all so fat and old looking.
