Not wearing glasses

I wanted to share a game tip that has helped me. If you wear glasses or corrective lenses this may help you.

When I was younger and an adult would scold me, I would remove my glasses. It was basically an easy mental trick to fool me into thinking they weren't there. If I can't really see them they can't hurt me [Image: tongue.gif]

For some reason, blurring my vision also has made approaching women a lot easier. I'm probably hyper sensitive to body language and by blurring my vision it has helped remove that fear and blast through it.

Just a useful trick. Game on gents.

Depending on how bad your vision is, you might not notice a visible sore or rash. [Image: confused.gif]

In all seriousness, when I don't wear my contacts, I feel I miss out on the little things and feel more confident with 20/20 vision. For the record, I'm slightly nearsighted, only wear contacts for driving/work/class/sports, and have never worn glasses.

Man,damn, I too have a bad eyesight and would probably wear glasses one day.
But I suppose if they were elegant and stylish they wouldn't affect game much, like those of Justin.

I used to experiment going out out dates and to bars/clubs wearing glasses vs contacts. I've come to a conclusion that I generally get better results when I don't wear glasses.

I used to go out without glasses or contacts too when I was younger, but I made a fool of myself a couple of times by walking into a glass door (luckily didn't break it).

I wear glasses and have looked into the issue myself after learning about Game.

Sometimes before that I went out without them and got better results when picking up girls.

Now after some research and having met cool guys with glasses I came to the following conclusions:

1. Glasses do make you look more k-selected, they can aid you only insofar when you are very r-selected by default - being very muscular, almost too manly, sometimes being black - then they may soften you just like it is with a beard. If you are already extremely manly &*rugged - having a beard does not help.

2. Glasses can help you look younger if you are above 35 and trying to pick up much younger chicks.

3. However the glasses have to be cool and not look k-selected. I saw it personally on a Player in Singapore who said something strange to me as we entered a night club: "Look - in 5 minutes a girl will come up to me and pick up my glasses - it happens all the time!"

The reason - the glasses were like cool sunglasses, but see-through and looking really cool. He was good-looking, but not that much, so in effect his outstanding glasses were a fantastic r-selected peacocking accessory. Think something like this:

Also another point is to have glasses with built-in light sensitivity that become darker during sunshine.

I've also experimented with colored lenses - both during day or night.

Those deeply blue tinted glasses I have seen already in more exclusive night clubs being worn by older men.

So essentially:

1. Glasses can aid you improve your look- making you either softer if already too masculine or younger looking - but not all men
2. They have to be cool - otherwise ditch them - too k-selected

I switched over to contacts when I was a teenager, never looked back.

I'd invest in laser eye surgery if you can't get contacts.

That's my next step.

But contact lenses have their issues as well, like falling off one day without even noticing, and they could wear off when around heat.

In my 12 years of wearing contacts, never have I not noticed contacts falling out. I've worn them riding, motorcycles, skydived with contacts, and they've never worn off or fallen out.

The only instance they've fallen out is cliff diving with my eyes open.

I always have a backup pair of contacts and glasses in my car, just in case.

I'm having a real tough time with my contacts but i won't go any other way for now, I'll only do lasik if it's the top shelf stuff such as airforce pilots get since i've known a few guys that went to cheap doctors and now have irreversible eye vision problems.

I've worn contacts since I was 13 but damn those blue glasses are sweet and would fit perfectly with my style of peacocking. Will ask my optometrist about them. Probably $5000 though.....

This trick will probably work on guys who suffer from some form of social anxiety. I used to have a really hard time as a child looking people in the eyes. I adapted by looking at the bridge of the nose instead.

The mental trick for some reason helps keep those negative self thoughts away by hiding body language which i've always found myself misinterpreting.

Just remember to get a good look at the girl FIRST before you go in blind [Image: tongue.gif]

I'd say it's only a good idea if you have severe social anxiety, and even then only at the beginner stage so that you can build a little experience, as I believe that getting comfortable with eye contact is one of the quickest ways to build confidence and to improve your game. This is a good post from Heartiste on eye contact with some actionable advice, although I wouldn't recommend doing the stuff with other men, especially if you're somewhere like the UK where people are ready to resort to violence at the drop of a hat, drunk or not, and at any time of day:

https://heartiste.wordpress.com/2012/03/...catatonic/

"It’s not as easy as it sounds. Try holding eye contact as long as possible with random men and women. Assume a relaxed or smiling expression so that you aren’t mistaken for an angry commuter having a bad day. Start by doing it with people passing you on the sidewalk going the opposite direction, so you know an end to the discomfort is not long off. Even in those walk-by sidewalk situations, where a mere few seconds of eye lock is all that’s required of you, you’ll find it difficult to hold a stranger’s eyes for longer than a split second. The difficulty level will go up if your eye partner is a hot girl or a dominant man meeting you pupil a pupil.

After a few days of this, something almost magical happens. You notice that men break eye contact before you do, and look to the ground. Forced to look up at you (most will be shorter than you), women return your gaze hungrily, uneasily, wonderment gripping their facial expressions, and if your vision is sharp enough you can make out a nearly imperceptible parting of their lips. You begin to feel dominant. And that feeling translates into real dominance and an attitudinal shift, for above all the thing that is attractive about alpha males is their attitude."

Agreed. I think it's very helpful for night game to wear contacts and avoid glasses.

Daygame I pretty much wear glasses, I don't think it hurts me if I'm dressed well and look good.

I too have noticed much better results with contacts than with glasses. Going to clubs is especially bad with glasses as any kind of light reflects much more intensely.

I only used to wear contacts for sporting reasons, so I always feel more comfortable with my glasses on. Despite being told I Look a little better without them, its just what Im familiar with. Maybe I'll change it on day

I tried to get contacts today at the Walmart optometrist. They got them in. But I could not let myself get them out. I stopped myself, before I got pissed and made a scene. The optometrist was cool. I got a free eye exam. He did not charge me. I bought some perscription safety glasses for work, instead.
