How to prevent girls from finding out your real name

I think the standard advice on the forum is that in 3rd world countries you should not tell girls (or any random people) your real name. I certainly don't.

I'm usually good at not getting found out but it seems there are landmines everywhere.
* Any cards in your wallet
* Any receipts from dinner or your hotel that you accidentally left out
* Plane tickets
* Waiter referring to you as Mr <last name> when you get the bill
* Concierge referring to you as Mr <last name> if you receive a package or message
* Random shit on your phone

I try to scrub destroy the evidence as much as possible and use cash as much as possible, but I finally fucked up due to to being careless.

Do you guys have any next level advice on this to avoid fucking up again?

Thanks!

How to prevent girls from finding out your real name

I avoid giving my name to ONS or short flings in the US.

I always pay cash in bars and restaurants.

If I take her to a hotel i tell her to wait in the car while I get the room. They want to do this anyway.

My wallet stays in my pants pocket at all times

I never leave my phone alone with her, even to take a piss in the next room

Very few of these casual hookups even ask your last name, but if they do have a fake one you use ready.

In the US very few girls ask my last name, but in the 3rd world almost every girl does. I have my fake name, fake fb and fake email ready hahaha.

This is all good advice, but I think the girl went through my wallet when I was sleeping.

It's too big a risk to give your real name. There's the possibility of them stalking you on social media, finding out where you work/live, or trying to cry rape. I think nom de guerre is most apt in these cases.

I just tell them my name is Marc and have my friends referr to me as such. If one of them slips up and calls me by my real name X then I say "My father's name is also Marc, so my friends growing up always referred to me by my middle name X to avoid confusion when we were young."

Don't tell them. Establish a nickname that fits you, and live by it.
In the military most guys lie about their name, or what they did. People never knew my real name unless they saw me in uniform. I wasn't called by my "government name" until I was about 28 years old and it felt odd to hear it. From birth to 13 I had one name from the neighborhood I lived in. We moved and I had a new name. I joined the Army and had a new name. I got out, and people would use my real name, and I would tell them "my friends call me BLAH BLAH". I kept relationships compartmentalized. This wasn't something I did consciously, but was a consequence of growing up in bad neighborhoods and limiting the info that you put out there. Damn, I never realized how fucked up this sounds until I typed it out.

I know the feel.
Some of my best friends use my last name or nickname.
For the last year I've been using a different name..
Mainly because my real name is foreign and everything work or business related can be found if girls looked up my first name.

Ive gotten a little slack.. some girls know my real last name.
one girl even found my real facebook after only having my nickname

How to prevent girls from finding out your real name

My "fake" name is so organic and ubiquitous by now that many, perhaps most, of my "real life" acquaintances do not know my full name, much less the spelling of it.

I think of people I had class with, the people I work with, and my family as the exceptions in knowing my full, "real" name.

I'm not paranoid about giving girls in foreign countries my full name (for FB, etc... it's more so any corporate-employer or any would-be-corporate-employer cannot do a deep dive on my online activities), but you always have the option of disclosing your full name to random girls.

Once the cat's out of the bag, however, you cannot pull-back your full, real name if you fail to pull out.

The value of an option is only worth something when un-exercised.

How to prevent girls from finding out your real name

I got out of the Facebook-Kardashian mass hypnosis matrix some time ago and do not use Facebook, Skype, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Instagram and so on anymore so the chances of being able to track me down borders 0

That said, I have no problem revealing my last name when explicitely asked as I understand most European girls would like to know that information especially if you're in a mini-relationship

OP: I think a combination-lock cashbox would help.
No key, so no girls ferreting through your pockets for it at night.

In the Philippines, if you've been here 6 months + you have to go to immigration and get a police clearance to be allowed to leave the country. You have to do that less than a week before leaving if I understood the people at immigration correctly.

If you trust a potential pissed off 18 year old , or her brothers, or her boyfriend, to not try to drop a dime with some fake accusation on you, be my guest.

Even a 1/100 of 1% chance of getting blocked on exit would be so stressful I don't want to be open to that possibility.

Remember the man is always wrong, the foreigner is always wrong, and the older man with the younger woman is always wrong.
