Not just youthful sweetness, I'd personally automatically assume there is something wrong.

I agree. The most feminine really good girls I know retained a child-like sweetness. If there are no other real red flags, then it can be even a good sign.

Frankly - this actually goes both ways - men who retain at times a boyish charm and fascination with women - like little boys opening their presents - as in undressing a girl for the first time - are actually quite attractive to women. I still play video games and can be quite "immature" at times. But all of that has to be done in a strong Alpha frame.

The same goes for a sweet feminine girl - ideally a woman should retain that sweet femininity even in her 60s when dealing with her husband. So no - not a red flag automatically. If she sleeps with a knife under her pillow, that is a red flag.

I dated a girl for years who slept with a small stuffed dog or rabbit, it was debatable which. Even after a messy break I can say she was one of the sanest women I've been with. Good fodder to tease also. Now about a whole assortment can't really say, approaching hoarding level with anything is a red flag in my book. Ultimate nightmare would be to end up sedately married in a doublewide filled with themed curio cabinets.

The little girl voice thing is a legit sign of abuse. Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew used to talk about it a lot on Loveline. They could pretty accurately predict what age a girl had been abused at based off of how old she sounded.

This describes my relationship perfectly. My girlfriend has a couple stuffed animals on her bed and I bought her a big ass teddy bear for her birthday. As long as a girl isn't obsessed with them I see it as a positive.

As for me, I get really excited for Christmas and other random things that remind me of my childhood. I've noticed girls love it when they realize your not completely jaded and can still get excited over little things.

Too much of this forum focuses on becoming an unemotional hard-ass. You can still be alpha and play with a cute puppy or put up a Christmas tree. I went through a period of being too serious after finding the forum. It made me come across as negative.

Sometimes you have to forget about what James Bond or Don Draper would do and go out and live your life.
