Where is everyone going for NYE?
11-24-2014, 11:03 PM
I'm in NYC and sadly looks like I'll be here for NYE. Some of you may laugh, but it's not really all that great here on NYE. I'd say generally a regular weekend night is better. Harder to bar hop because most places try to charge a big cover till at least 2am.
I went to New Orleans a few years ago and that was a blast. Maybe I'll be able to swing that again.

My parents, to have a nice quiet dinner. There's nothing that I don't like more than New Year/Christmas parties, whether they're indoors or outdoors.

If I get an invite to a party with young girls and old friends, then I might go. Otherwise, I'll just visit my parents in the suburbs. The inner city is a war zone at NYE, fireworks flying all over the place, drunk people throwing huge bombs around and it's impossible to get anywhere. Therefore, if there isn't a party I can't miss, then I won't go out.

House party, always a house party every year. Inner city all prices go up x5 - taxis, drinks, bottles, everything. So house party where you get a good bang for your buck

I want to go home to see my family, but I don't think I can. So probably working.
Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.
