I've been meaning to contribute this for a while now, here goes.

Hotels/Casinos - For the man on a budget being here during the week it is significantly cheaper to stay at hotels without giving up almost any of the happening nightlife. Many kickass clubs have their "industry" nights during the early weekdays (Marquee and XS are Mondays). Rooms can be had at the Silverton (not a bad place at all) for $35/night and at Artisan (really cool hotel with happening local nightlife bar) for around 50/night. Those prices double over the weekends. Plenty of other places to find with a little research.

Clubs- Unless you know a host or someone of status that works for the group that runs the club, you are going to have to wait in a long ass line. Guys will pay 50 plus dollars to get in. Last memerial day weekend guys had to pay around 200 to get into XS at one point. The way to go is to introduce yourself to a host and ask to get on the guestlist for the next night. That in itself won't help you get past a long line but it will save you the cover. To get thru the line, you'll need to buy a "line pass" from one of the guys working the line. That is typically as much per person as the cover, so if you're on the guest list, it's a wash. Another way to get into the club is to have a bevy of hot ass with you. In those cases you can almost always get right in with no trouble. For the dudes that roll out 5 deep and no girls, you are in for a long wait if you don't want to drop any money. If money is not an issue you can purchase a table (automatic DHV) but you will probably not get a good deal (again unless you have a host there at the club you deal with) expect to pay at least 100 bucks per guy and bottles will vary in price but usually around 375 (that does not include the 20 dollar red bulls and waters)

Marquee is the big hot spot right now, XS is fucking awesome, you really can't go wrong in any big casino night club. I like XS (Encore) on Sunday, Marquee (Cosmopolitan) on Monday, Pure (Ceaser's Palace) on Tuesday, Artisan or Blue Martini (town square, ladies night) on Wednesday and Tao (Venetian) on Thursday. Fri and Sat it's hard to go wrong at most places. Expect to pay 10-20 dollars per cocktail.

Pool parties; Thursday through Monday you'll have a variety of pools that can offer an awesome time and easy hookups. WET Republic at the MGM is really great. Rehab at the Hard Rock is too goddamn trashy these days. I'll still go but, I'm not crazy about it. Tao Beach is a smaller venue but offers a more intimate setting (I've pulled bacherlorettes on two occasions out of there). I went to Liquid in Aria last summer but wasn't that impressed, it's medium sized but, nothing that special. I haven't been to Encore Beach Club yet but, I hear it's cool but unfortunately not doing that well financially. Again, Artisan Hotel has a cool little pool and it's great to bring a girl. If you want to go to a pool with a girl and not have too much of a hassle, take her to M Resort. They have a place called Daydream and it's really nice. As far as lines and whatnot go, if you don't have girls it's going to be a long wait. Rehab charges 100 for guys and girls have to pay too now (not sure how much) bottom line, it's just like the clubs, worse in some cases.

The pool parties thing sounds very interesting. When i went to vegas many years ago, they didn't exist. Is vegas the only place that has pool parties? If they are good, I would think it would catch on in other cities.

XS on a Monday is to this day one of the best night club experiences I've ever had. Just quality all the way around: girls, ambiance, venue, music, ratio, etc. I lucked out and knew a guy who's roommate worked the door there, so we never had to wait or pay. We had hook ups at Tryst too. Agree about Rehab, hated it every time I went.

It's funny, on really busy nights, sometimes even a bunch of hot ass didn't get you into those places. I'll never forget how satisfying it was to see a group of 6 made up American girls try to jump the line at XS for no other reason than that they had vaginas and short skirts, and to watch them get sent back to the end of the 2 hour line, while my buddy and I hopped the ropes right in front of them. They looked at us like they had just been robbed or something. I'm sure back in Pittsburgh or wherever the fuck they were from, a short skirt had been basically a free pass to anywhere they wanted to go in life.

Haven't been to Marquee, but haven't been to Vegas in about a year. Solid info though. Good to see someone up-to-date and knowledgeable on this stuff. I get so tired of guys telling me that Vegas is overrated and then I find out that they went to the shitholes on the other side of the strip and tried to pick up trucker slop. Vegas can be amazing or awful depending on where you go, who you know, and how much cash you got to throw around. Lot of guys don't get that.

the clubs i went to (pure in Caesars Palace and forgot some of the other names) were nice but it seems the older i'm getting the less prepared i am to deal with queues, VIP guestlist and bottle service BS

Another way to get into clubs if you are with a group of guys only is to look for any security dudes dressed in suits walking around the entrance of the club. Just go up to them and ask if there is anyway to get into the club i.e. make it seem you are willing to grease them but don't say it directly. Tell them BS that it's your boys birthday or whatever. I've been able to grease these dudes between $20 to $40 to get in. Make sure that whatever price you agree to with the dude includes cover. Once I paid $40 to get into XS thinking it included cover, only to figure out that the guy screwed up and we still had to pay cover on top of the $40 each.

Another option if you really want is to go to the club early and be one of the first 20-50 people in line. I've done this at Tao and LAX. It's actually not bad if you pre-party then bring some drinks with you because there will be chicks in line that you can talk to. Downside is that drinks are fucking expensive so if you are in the club at 10:30 p.m. its going to be a fucking expensive night unless you are already toasted.

For bottle service in my experience it's been way more than $100 per guy. Most of the top clubs have a two bottle minimum, at least on weekends. For each bottle you can bring in a max of 4 guys so that's 8 guys total though sometimes you may be able to get in one or two more. The cheapest bottles from what I can remember at $550 at places like XS, Tryst, and Tao. On top of that they add state tax of like 8-10% and service charge of 15%, so total you are looking at a minimum of $1100 plus 25% so like $1375 or around $170 a guy. And that's for a shitty bottle, if you want Greygoose it's going to cost even more. The plus of table service of course is that you can get major ass. Just go up to any group of girls and offer them drinks and a place to sit. There is no free place to sit in most Vegas clubs so girls who don't have table service are standing around in high heels all night, and of course they don't want to actually have to pay for fucking drinks. Table service works wonders but remember two bottles with 8 guys and then a few bitches drinking too will not last long and you don't want to have to order another bottle unless you really want to burn money that night.

Anyway, Vegas is fucking awesome. Some of my best experiences have been during birthday or bachelor parties in Vegas. It's amazing how stupid chicks act the minute they step off the plane in Vegas. It is fucking unbelievable.

It does sound amazing... I mean, an amazing deal for the nightclub owners. Getting people to line up for 2 hours, pay $40 cover, and $500 for bottles that cost $25 at the liquor store.

Last time I went to Vegas it was not like that... the nightclub at the Palm was like $20 cover and $10ish drinks. Or you could just pull in the casino, which was pretty packed, with several bars spread around the floor.

I do casino floor, restaurants, lounges and Gentleman's clubs. I rarely do the clubs and never do the pool parties (I am either sleeping and hopefully sharing an alarm clock with a fly girl/girls or making moves).

Those prices seem cheap compared to NYC, when I went there the bills ended up at silly money one place called one oak wanted $1500 per bottle and for 8 of us two bottles. I gave that one a miss.

It's seems like the clubs become more of a headache with each passing year.

I'm only so so on lounges info, I'm trying to put together a list of off the beaten path places all around town for the purpose of swooping local girls. They love it when you show em a place they haven't been to. In the casinos I know of a few. As far as the casino floor, I've almost never hooked it up except for once while waiting at a bar for a friend who was staying at the Rio. I don't gamble so the floor is just a place I have to walk thru to get to the venue. I should def start exploiting that.

I like it since you can post up Dolo, Custom Suited Down, smoke a grit and catch girls "in transition".

I like setting up my moves in Las Vegas kind of like a spiders web, since there is no rush and so much time on the clock. Set traps.

Lounges are a good move since you can get the club scene for a pseudo discount. Caramel in Bellagio is my favorite spot in there. Good place to kill time and get a couple of numbers while waiting for a girl or friend.

I also like the casino floor bars. Parasol Up and Parasol Down in Wynn are old time favorites. Bellagio has one called Prive that is known to produce.

I would be interested in which spots off strip you like to go to.

I have mentioned on here before that The Peppermill is a great place to take Exotics when they are getting off work. Good food too, 24 hours.

There was a sushi spot I used to go to on I think Flamingo that had DJ's and served late night. Fly local girls. I forgot the name though, but I am sure if you tell a cab driver for the "sushi spot that serves late night", he will steer you in the right direction.

One Oak was one of the most expensive spots in NYC. Worth it though at the peak (as long as you weren't paying those prices), not sure how it is now, or even if it is still open.

I think it was opened by the guys from Butter (that was dope (models) on Monday's).

You can pick up local industry girls (cocktail waitresses, strippers, random vegas party girls) late night at the Artisan on fri and sat, that place goes off after hours. Was actually there on sat night at like 4am with some girls we met at the Rhino and we all went there when they were off.

If you go the Silverton route you for sure have to rent a car since youre a bit away from everything. Make sure to weigh that into your total cost.

Fisto-I know you and G were talking a bit about the casino bars instead of clubs. Try hitting up the Bond bar in Cosmo, G you might like this place too although from what ive read from you it might be a little too crowded for you. As far as casino bars go its almost like a bar/lounge hybrid pretty cool place with a lot of women. Actually as far as that goes the Cosmo in general is the place to be. Ive been there like 5 times since its opened and its been ass soup every time Ive been there. Anyone coming here make it a MUST go to place.

I am a bit older than most of the members on this board, but I don't want to party with cougars. A nice hotel with a rooftop pool lounge with a nice crowd, some foreign chicks would be ideal.

Bumping this thread since Vegas flew into the picture for my summer escape. Since my planning is so late it looks right now that I'm paying >$1300 for a trip + hotel to Bulgaria or Mallorca. I figured I might as well drop down another couple of Franklins' and go to Vegas and stay at far better hotels than I would in the Med or EE. The recent discussions on the "easiness" of American girls as well has made me realize that I at a point right now where I'm not looking for quality (I have that at home) but just want to steamroll.

I've read up and down on the forum about LV and G's numerous guides (superb info there).

Couple of points:

*First, is it worth it? I hear LV can be tough in the summers (Aug) with the heat.

*I'm dedicated to staying in any of the classic top hotels Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, Mandalay Bay. I'd love to stay in the Cosmopolitan since I'm a Marriott Gold but their rates starts at $200 which seems insane when I can get a room at The Wynn for <$100. Is there any one of these that I should particularly avoid right now?

*I don't really do pool parties (overpriced and with a runner's body I can't stand out enough among the steroid shooters). I would love a good pool scene at the hotel however because of the heat and the ability to sling some european accent at talent on regular pool hours.

*Get this. I have never been to a strip club/Gentleman's club in my life. It's not a moral choice, there's simply not any classy such clubs in Scandinavia. So the question is whether I should even bother with the pros of LV when it's virgin territory for me. Just watching does nothing for me. If I go it's to pluck a performer or two.

*Pipelining. I vaguely remember seeing a site somewhere which was basically POF/Okcupid but geared toward people going to Vegas where you could sort through profiles based on the dates they were going. Can't remember what it was called though, anyone know or can suggest another good pipelining resource for Sin City?

Was in Vegas in May and Fisto's pointers were great. Vegas is always worth a visit and I'd like to go back at some point. Your hotel choices seem all good. Seems to be really important to stay at one of the well-known classier places. The Cosmopolitan looks really good and I am curious about it but Wynn is great as well. Haven't been to a strip club, can't say what these are like. Pipeling does not seem really necessary, especially since you will encounter loads of tourists like yourself. Hard to pipeline them anyway. Check out Blue Martini on Wednesdays for Vegas industry girls. You see so much talent there. Otherwise clubs are a mixed bag. If you do not buy bottle service etc. be aware that the bouncers treat you like shit. I found especially Tryst annoying in that respect. Other clubs can still be okay, though.

Looks like the Vegas DS hasn't been updated for a while, here's a quick update.

- Blue Martini: Saturday 11-1AM. It was packed with mostly cougars. Chatted up a mother/daughter team at BM, turns out the daughter's dating the bartender. Bartender says Wed-Thu usually draws younger crowds. Almost got digits off a 40yr old that looks like Jen Aniston, but cockblocked by her niece, had to give her my # instead, but didn't get anywhere. Around $11-$15 for drinks. Park valet and you get a coupon for a free drink up to $16 along with discounts to other restaurants/bars.

- Coconuts in Town Square (Across from Blue Martini): Was at Blue Martini first until 1AM, and damn this place rocks. They heavily advertised specials for ladies, so this place had pretty close to 1:1 ratio. Mostly in groups though. I did about 10 approaches but only got a couple dances and nothing else. It's more of a club atmosphere with loud house/hip hop/pseudo latin music, so dancing game should work better since I had to yell every time I approach. Both BM and Coco are almost 100% local crowd.

- Chateau @ Paris: Was there Tuesday, came in early at 11pm. I name dropped so got to skip the line and cover. Had a Candy Shop theme on the outdoor (3rd) dance floor, you can get candies, snow cones, cotton candies, etc. Pretty cool, except that I hate sugar. G would hate it since even though it's outdoor you can only smoke in designated areas. Outdoor floor plays mostly house (or EDC as the young'uns call it these days.. it's still techno dammit). Decent ratio early on, maybe 2-1. Mix of 5-8s. Lots of the higher end ones are at tables with guys though. Music's not too loud near the bars, you can actually spit game without yelling. Drinks are overpriced of course, about $11-$15 on average. Mostly abercrombie looking crowd, a few douchebags, and lots of sloppily dressed people at the tables. Also there were a few suited down guys with pocket squares, but they weren't doing any swooping.

2nd floor plays hip-hop, mostly AA crowd. Closer to 1-1 ratio but only 6s at best. Got approached by a 4 at the bar on the 2nd floor. She asked if I wanna buy her a drink. Part of me wanted to say, "For this to go anywhere, you'd have to be the one buying me drinks - and I'll need at least 4 tequila shots". Instead I politely smiled and turned away to chat with 2 girls on the other side. I was rolling solo and didn't feel like getting punched in the face.

Story of the night - and now I know why a lot of people don't think too highly of Aussie guys:

I hung out at both bars where the main traffic is - maybe about 15-20 minutes in each bar. Only got one approach in. I decided to hustle a table. Looked around, and the only obvious target is a small table with 4 guys and no girls, and they're just sitting there. I came up to them, introduced myself, and turns out they're from OZ. They were here for a bachelor party. So I asked them, if I bring you girls, can you keep the alcohol flowing? They said sure no problem bring them. I hit the dance floor, and saw 4 girls, dancing without drinks. Decent group, 2 6s, a 6.5 and a solid 7. Threw in my patented line for non drinkers: "Hi, are you guys from Utah?" They were like, what?
"Well you're not drinking.. and only Utah girls club without drinking". Turns out they're from Uruguay, so the line was a total miss, but I pulled them off the floor regardless. Say all you want about bottle service, but if you can afford it, you won't have to work as hard.

I brought them to the table and introduced them to my OZ "friends". 2 of them started chatting, one didn't get up, another one just stood there like a dumbass. One of the OZ that was up and chatting zeroed in on the 7. Which was fine, the 6.5 was the friendliest one, so I was on that. I told the 2 guys that were being passive, "Hey, if you're not gonna do anything, at least be a gentleman and make the ladies some drinks.". One of them just said, "They got hands mate they can pour their own drinks". Not sure if he was being alpha or retarded, since the girls weren't going near the bottle on their own. So I mixed some OJ vodka for the girls, I still have my drink so I didn't pour myself any.

After chatting about 8-10 mins, one of the security guard approached me. He was cool and respectful because he knew I knew his boss, but he said I need to move because one of the guys at the table doesn't want me there. So I turned around, and told the girls, "Hey let's go back and dance". 2 of them wanted to stay because they were talking to the guys, but my 6.5 pulled them away and we all went to the floor. The look on the OZ guys' faces were just precious.

I ended up dancing with the 4 girls for the next half an hour or so. Major social boost since I'm just average looking. Had guys on the side looking at us with WTF looks on their faces. Oddly only 1 or 2 got the guts to approach our group, the rest just stood there. I got pounds and high fives from random guys when I went to the bar to refill my drink.

Conversation with the 6.5 was tough between my non-existent Spanish, her limited English and the loud music, so I had to settle for minor kino. I couldn't separate her from her friends (trip invitation to the bar didn't work), and with only one drink, it doesn't look like she was comfortable doing anything more. 2 of the OZ guys were standing in the sidelines just watching us. One of them came up to 6.5 and started talking in her ear. She looks uncomfortable after that and I could feel the mood changing. Meanwhile, when I was dancing with them there was another girl basically eyefucking me while she was dancing on the other side, and I moved to dance with her instead. The 4 girls left the floor shortly after.

The new girl was halfway hammered, and she introduced me to another girl. Turns out they just met. The girl I was dancing with just got married.. and guess what.. Australian. The other girl is from LA, asked me personal questions right off the bat. She looks like high 30s, 6 at best, but what the hell. As we were dancing, a guy came over. Turns out he was the husband. Could pass for one of those guys they put outside A&F stores, and was pretty cool, or so I thought. Didn't mind me groping his new wife at all. Until his wife dropped a bomb: "Hey you ever had a threesome?" I said, "No, but I'd try anything at least once." Then I looked at LA girl, and told her, "Hey she's looking for a threesome, what do you think?". She said, "Well I'm sure her hubby wants in, it's gonna be a 4some". I was like, SCORE!

Then the hubby out of nowhere came up from behind me and started grinding while I was still dancing with LA girl. I thought he was just fucking with me but he was seriously grinding! I asked the wife, what's wrong with your hubby? I think he's totally smashed. She said, "No, he has bi tendencies". Oh shit. Not the 3some I had in mind. LA girl heard it and was a bit weirded out. Not a few minutes later he came up behind me again and started grabbing and rubbing my chest, with his head on my shoulder. LA girl freaked out and bolted. I pushed him away and damn near punched him in the face, but the wife grabbed me and started dancing with me. I told him that wasn't cool, and he left the floor to go to the bar. Once he left, the wife got closer and started kissing me, but I was still a lil freaked out. I left after about 15-20 mins and went back to the bar. My game was mediocre to begin with, but the whole episode just made it worse.

Tried a few more approaches, nothing stuck. By 3am the ratio was closer to 7-1 or worse, and the leftovers were just atrocious, so I decided to check the 2nd floor. Not much better. That's when I got approached by the 4. I decided to check 3rd floor one more time before I left. OZ guys, now only 3 of them, actually got some leftovers. Cutest one was probably a 5. the other 2 were heavy hitters so to speak. Served the fuckers right.

I went outside to check the casino bars. Mostly dead, to be expected on a Tuesday at 3AMish. Thought about going to the Rhino since I was somewhat suited down (Calvin Kleins - Sorry G no scratch for Brionis yet), but decided to just save my energy for the weekend.


So there ya go. Some local perspective. I'll do a DS on the college bars next, back when I was going to UNLV those places were goldmines. The way Vegas clubs are these days it's actually cheaper and easier to just get hookers, even if you can bypass the lines and skip the cover.

I buy tickets on wantickets or something similar if the group is small, if its larger i usually go in on a table but I never leave my card because whomever does always gets screwed with collecting money from everyone else. The passes generally work ok, just show up before 11 (which is generally the case if you want to get a table anyway). I walked into Marquee in 5 minutes, no lines. Also have done at XS, Tao, and at Wet Republic, etc.
