Yeah, Id love to, but May/June is the PERFECT time to go to Slovenia. After that, the whole city becomes a ghost-town (not kidding) until October when school starts again.

I won't be able to make it in May so that I can squeeze in a few cities in western Canada. I was going to Ukraine this summer, but that destination has slowly faded away in interest after doing some initial groundwork.

Not sure what my next EE destination will be. I am eagerly waiting fro ISW's report on Macedonia.

PLease gives us an updated trip report. You should have a great time as spring is just kicking in around Mid May.

Do not miss going to Lasko - the girls there are super DTF!!!

I traveled to DC and NYC to specifically study Russian/Ukraine women, their behavior, lifestyle and way of thinking. I even started taking Russian lessons wish escalated my level to advanced basic.

This was to help me prepare tactics for bedding Ukrainian women, although, Ukraines swear up and down to be different than Russians. However, I saw that as far as getting them to bang goes, they are very similar to Russian women.

After my DC/NYC trip, I started to specifically target Ukraine women in sections of Miami known for having them working as hostesses in restaurants and other places they congregate.

There were many reasons that made me lose interest as it being a primary destination, but I will give you the major bullet-points that turned me off.

1. They are VERY cold. This means that a lof work has to be put in to build DHV, and comfort.

2. They are very superficial in a very obvious and blatant in your face manner. It's all bout their 600USD coach bag, and how rich you are perceived by her social network.

3. It's all about network. You can forget about the dime women if you are not part of a very hip social circle. Oldnemesis explained this in another thread on how incredibly important a well established "rock-solid" social circle is for Russian/Ukraine women. I know that Ukraines are NOT russian, but they are very similar I have learned as far as gaming the women go.

4. I did not see them "feel me" as a latino. Somehow, I was not getting vibes form any girls that they are DTF latin men....They were not even impressed by me speaking to them in Russian, and introducing myself in Russian. They just looked at me me like Oh, you speak some Russian? humm...ok. It seemed like they did not even care I bothered to even learn something in their language. I think this has to do with their racist mentality as much as they deny being racist.

I dated a total of 16 girls (approached nearly 40) fresh off the boat from Ukraine with little English skills - I only banged 1 of them. Which tells me that fucking them is more work than I am willing to put in for an average 6.

Of the non-hispanic girls. I'll do much better with Greek, Italian, French, Canadian, Swedish, Lithuanian, Latvian and hell, even American girls.

You seemed to have put in your due diligence, but a counterargument is that a girl's attitude is way different when she knows she's the one who is exotic/valued. Girls who are rich enough to emigrate to Miami will be different than a girl living in Kiev.

Well, I fail to understand how a Ukraine woman's ego can blow up so high when she friggin' works at a restaurant making less than minimum wage money off the books.

How can she deem herself "rich enough" because she is in Miami when she lives in a shithole studio apt. (with 2 roommates) and is waiting tables 14hrs per day? Which is what 90% of the Ukraine/Russian women I dated for this study were doing for a living. All were putting out vibes to have this fantastic life, and you asked her what she did for $$$, the common answers were:

A. I work as a hostess/waitress at ABC restaurant 14hr days. --usually off the books
B. I do manicures and pedicures at XYZ salon.
C. I am unemployed right now, can you help me find a job?

I wonder if this is relevant to the fact that those girls are in US, and in the industry where they are constantly bombarded with male attention. Which skyrockets her perceived value. Should not be the case there.

Happens back in Russia as well. Note, she tries to impress you and qualify herself. This is a typical indicator of insecurity, easy to counter.

Yes, they're similar on that matter. And yes, it is all about network. A Western-type "random hookup" cultural phenomena which leads to sex is very limited in Eastern Europe and Russia. I experienced pretty much the same thing in Romania, you get nowhere without the network, and it is HARD to get in. While it is quite easy to hook up initially, without being the accepted member of the network you'll hit the barrier sooner or later, and this barrier will be very hard to get over.

This means they were impressed. Remember what I said, in our culture the emotions you show are your weaknesses which will be used against you. So we control it very well when dealing with strangers. I still remember going through my second interview here in States for a company which wanted to hire me for a really good position, and the HR manager said I gonna be interviewed with a president. He actually told me - dude, could you at least pretend during the interview you're excited? And I was, like, WTF? It is not like I won jackpot, we're talking business here, nothing to be excited about.

To give you an idea, if they weren't impressed, they would just reply to you in Russian, and the "Oh, you speak some Russian?" part wouldn't even come out.

Now about being Latino, I do not know if this is Miami thing, as here in Bay Area being Latino definitely doesn't give you any advantage. Note that every "fresh off boat" Russian has a fairly good understanding about America, target city and "who is who". There are several - and quite large - forums in the Internet where Russians discuss those things, so "fresh from boat" should be treated as "speaks little English", and not "has no idea about America and its dating market". Those things, of course, are differently back there.

So, to summarize, Russian girls would perceive you differently in Russia and Ukraine than here. Most likely as having more value than them. The drawback would be the number of English-speaking girls.

@oldnemesis.

Thanks for breaking down each point. After carefully reading your analysis, I realize that Russian/Ukrainian women are just way too complicated from what I am used to. I hope I get to take you to Colombia one day and you'll see that (except for the 10's) women are not that complicated. Latin women are the exact opposite. They love to show emotions and become a pain in the ass in the process. Within days (sometimes hours) of you merely being nice to her, you start hearing words from her like "Mi amor" (my love), and "mi rey" (my king).

Point being, if I am going to travel 5000 miles, I don't want to work 5x harder for women than my own backyard [Image: smile.gif]

@MiXX

Yes, "complicated" is a right word. Your numbers are very similar to what I'm getting in Eastern Europe, particularly in Romania - those bangs come as a result of major time investment, and the only reason I am actually pulling it is because there is nothing else to do for me there.

Now I wonder how would someone do in Colombia who doesn't speak Spanish except some basics, doesn't know the culture, the spots and is not part of the network?

A lot better than a latin guy in Ukraine who does not speak Ukrainian or Russian except some basics, knows the basics of culture, does not know the spots or part of the network.

I would say Colombia favors you more, than Ukraine/Russia would favor me....know what what I mean?

Oldnemesis, since you´re an expert on Ukraine, I wanted to ask you about the language situation in Western Ukraine: Could you come by with speaking Russian in places like Lviv, Ternopil, Zarkapattia, Chernitvsi, Ivano-Frankiwsk, Rivne etc. or would you have to learn Ukrainian? Or would people might even be able to understand Polish?
Could one draw an imaginary line dividing the country in a part where the majority prefers to speak Russian and the other part with Ukrainian as a preferred language?

Well I have been to Ukraine for 1 month and my opinion is the exact opposite. For the first time I felt bad for the women because it was too easy.

I just visited Lviv last month, and the language situation definitely got worse. While everyone still understands Russian, I've met quite a few who either refused, or could not speak Russian back to me, and they spoke Ukrainian. Also I heard significantly more Ukrainian around comparing to a few years ago. So while you still could come by with Russian + English, it is not as easy as in Eastern Ukraine.

It is also harder to come by with Polish in Lviv nowadays since a lot of people who had Polish ancestors went back to Poland, and the travel between Ukraine and Poland slowed down due to visas. All my Polish friends left to Poland.

Haven't made it to Ternopil and around, but I expect the language situation to be worse there as those are smaller cities with huge influence of the population coming from the country villages. But why would you even go there?

Zakarpattya (Uzhghorod, Mukachevo etc) spoke either Russian, or a dialect of Ukrainian which even I had hard time to understand (mostly the country people). Haven't been there since 1999 though.

There is no direct dividing line, but the further to the West you get, the more the Ukrainian becomes a prevalent language.

However if you're just looking to get laid, don't go to Western Ukraine. It is too conservative and religious. It is a good place to find a wife, but it sucks for ONS.

Hopefully I'll manage it this year. While I got enough miles to fly around the world several times, the flights from West Coast to Colombia are too long. The shortest is like nine hours with one stop, and in nine hours I can get to Amsterdam [Image: sad.gif]

How is this so? What would it take to get a blonde Ukrainian, blonde beau for a wife, and what's your view on having these western Ukraine girls as wives?
