My Ex wife lost a lot of weight, and ended up getting a tummy tuck. It really helped, but it's not magic. You see a lot of plastic surgery gone wrong websites with celebrities getting carried away with repeated surgeries. Renee Zellweger is a perfect example of someone whose plastic surgery turned out poorly. However, I think it's beneficial to have limited plastic surgery to overcome loose skin due to weight loss.

The key is that plastic surgery can make a person look better than they did before, in the case of a tummy tuck or a chin tuck, but it can't make them look young again. My ex went from having a doughy stomach to having a smooth, flat stomach, but she still looks her age.
