Just some general impressions of Stockholm.
Flew into Stockholm on a Saturday from the USA. Meeting a girl I hooked up with 2 years earlier. She has graduated college now and has given me the pretty direct impression she wants to rekindle our fire. I am pretty sure she is looking for marriage and relocating to the USA, not a bad proposition since I am 50, but I not ready to settle down yet. Nonetheless she is a solid 9. Got her 5'10" model height from her swedish father, and her looks from her colombian mother. Since she is going to be staying at my hotel the whole time, my gaming opportunities are limited, but here are my observations so far.
ECONOMY: The swedish economy is doing pretty poor right now and many young women are struggling to survive or find a job. One girl at a coffee shop was telling me that just trying to find a job is like having a job, it is requiring so much work. I think this might provide the man with a little bank roll some opportunity.
WHERE TO STAY: I would agree with prior posts, I would stay in Stureplan. This is the center of nightlife. The flip side is that a lot of the girls working the shops and such in the area probably live a distance away in some place they can afford. I stayed at the Eden Elite Park hotel and found it quite nice and reasonable. I normally would have stayed in an apt from airbnb, but since I knew I would be with one girl the whole time, a hotel with breakfast and room service was a higher priority.
SWEDISH WOMEN: To be honest, I am not that impressed. I do not think the "average" swedish woman is any better than the "average" woman I have seen in any other country. In fact, since I was last here, I think the quality has gone down quite a bit, with more girls needing to lose some weight. Particularly after just being in Ukraine last month, the average girl here is starting to fall into the chubby category. Contrary to most beliefs, the average swedisih girl is not blonde, but brunette. And a large proportion of the blondes you meet will be coloring their hair.
So, the vast majority of swedish girls are nothing special. But I will say, the top 5-10%, are truly exceptional. But that is a tough nut to crack. I have been lucky in that regard, which I largely attribute to USA status and high income.
STURE COMPAGNIET: So far, I have only gone to one club, Sture Compagniet. Definitely face control by the bouncer. I saw him tell several people that they could not get in if they were not on the guest list. I was a bit
dejected by this, but figured I would try to slip him some money and see if it works like it works elsewhere around the world. To my surprise, my date tells not to do this, that it would be considered an insult. I find that hard to believe, but I trust her judgement. I stand behind two white guys in their 30s, and they get told the standard "you are not on the guest list" and they are rejected. The bouncer looks at me and waves me up, asks my name and pretends I am on the guest list he is checking on his cell phone. He asks me "One?" I point out my date in the background, and lets us in. The point of the story? - I have no idea how I got in. But, getting in early is key.
It is 1130 pm, and the club is 65-70% girls. Most 6-7s, but still a target rich environment. Lots of girls looking for action and getting pretty drunk. When my date went to the restroom, I had a couple of girls approach me and I think a single guy could do well there. The key is getting in early. The drinks are not cheap - $40 for 2 vodka and redbull, but stockholm is not cheap anyways.
Swedish men are, on a whole, a good looking bunch and have style. Most swedish women will complain that swedish men are shy and don't approach, but every time I went to the bar or restroom, there was a swarm of guys around my date, so I would definitely go alpha. Just don't be an asshole, the woman are not stupid or desperate.
I have not officially day gamed yet, but hope to do a little while I am here and provide some feedback. I find that my USA status is definitely high valve here. When I arrived, I was wearlng a t-shirt I bought that said Aspen, CO. Nothing special, just something I bought when I was in Aspen and comfortable to travel in, but I thought might grab a little attention, and it has. I had several girls strike up conversations with me, asking me if I was from CO, etc etc. I find the girls to be exceptionally friendly, I get a fair number of looks when I speak american english.
Hopefully I can gather some more intel this week.
