I’ve come across many Asian-American women who are into sports (especially USC or UCLA grads) – there’s a few in my office who are heavily into NFL and/or college football. I had lunch last week with an (obese) white work colleague from Missouri last week and she says she’s gonna try and get me to join the Fantasy Football League. I didn’t say anything, but I thought “Good luck, fatso!”. I’ve never come across a FOB Asian woman in the US who has any interest in American sports whatsoever.
