See how the media tip-toes around the homosexuality of the husband.

When I saw a pic of that guy I instantly thought "gay".
The story goes that the woman had doubts before marriage due to his partly rough behavior coupled with his unwillingness to have sex with her. All of this should have been red flags, but she went through with it as she was partly pressured by their families and he promised that he would "up his hormone levels" via a "Thai-boxing-retreat".
Yeah - he was "bisexual" - sure thing.
Too bad for him the South African killer he hired was caught and confessed:

The little piece of shit likely found it unbearable to have her divorce him so soon after and likely he feared her telling their families, that he was gay. I know that the social family pressures in some Indian families can be quite tough as I dated Indian girls in the UK and have a soft spot for them, but still - for fuck's sake - having her killed? And how fucked up of a murder plan was that? Taking a stroll in a rough neighborhood in South Africa during the honeymoon - did he really think that this is believable?

It is really sad for the woman as she could have easily gotten a good guy for marriage, but I guess the combination of abusive Dark Triad traits that many gays display versus women coupled with some sensitive emotional availability and the pressure of the families made it a toxic concoction.
I personally have a few gay acquaintances though all of them are balanced and even quite masculine - they still told me enough sordid stories of their community to know fully well that women should quickly forget any Hollywood stories about having a deep friendship or god forbid marriage with the wide majority of them. One guy even told me in sordid detail of how disgusting he thinks women are and how the hell I could ever be attracted to them?
In any case - a sad story, while the media spins it and barely mentions him being gay, so as not to be accused of homophobia.

n a dramatic opening to his long-awaited trial, Dewani pleaded his innocence but revealed he is bisexual and saw male prostitutes. It was designed to pre-empt the forthcoming appearance of Leopold Leisser, a male prostitute who claims Dewani paid him £400 a session for sex.
Yeah - he was "bisexual" - sure thing.

In court he came face to face with the man he allegedly hired to murder his wife for the first time since the night of the shooting. Mziwamadoda Qwabe, 29, is one of two prosecution witnesses who have claimed that Dewani paid them to kill Anni.
Dewani denied any involvement in the murder of his 28-year-old wife, who died from a gunshot wound to the neck in a rough township of Cape Town in November 2010.
And he said, despite visiting male prostitutes, he was still attracted to Anni and had no reason to kill her. Throughout the spring and summer of 2010 their relationship, according to Sneha’s statement, was characterised by arguments.
