Marriage to a gay man gone wrong

Anni said 'wedding was a sham and Dewani was weird, controlling and never wanted sex': Explosive new claims by murdered honeymoon bride's closest confidante
Sneha Hindocha, Anni's cousin, told police she believed Dewani was lying
She was suspicious of his claim that his bride wanted to visit a township
The 30-year-old was in daily contact with Anni throughout the honeymoon
In her sensational witness statement she claims the wedding was a sham
Said Dewani spoke of wanting to turn Anni from 'ugly duckling into a swan'

See how the media tip-toes around the homosexuality of the husband.

When I saw a pic of that guy I instantly thought "gay".

The story goes that the woman had doubts before marriage due to his partly rough behavior coupled with his unwillingness to have sex with her. All of this should have been red flags, but she went through with it as she was partly pressured by their families and he promised that he would "up his hormone levels" via a "Thai-boxing-retreat".

n a dramatic opening to his long-awaited trial, Dewani pleaded his innocence but revealed he is bisexual and saw male prostitutes. It was designed to pre-empt the forthcoming appearance of Leopold Leisser, a male prostitute who claims Dewani paid him £400 a session for sex.

Yeah - he was "bisexual" - sure thing.

Too bad for him the South African killer he hired was caught and confessed:

Quote:Quote:

In court he came face to face with the man he allegedly hired to murder his wife for the first time since the night of the shooting. Mziwamadoda Qwabe, 29, is one of two prosecution witnesses who have claimed that Dewani paid them to kill Anni.
Dewani denied any involvement in the murder of his 28-year-old wife, who died from a gunshot wound to the neck in a rough township of Cape Town in November 2010.
And he said, despite visiting male prostitutes, he was still attracted to Anni and had no reason to kill her. Throughout the spring and summer of 2010 their relationship, according to Sneha’s statement, was characterised by arguments.

The little piece of shit likely found it unbearable to have her divorce him so soon after and likely he feared her telling their families, that he was gay. I know that the social family pressures in some Indian families can be quite tough as I dated Indian girls in the UK and have a soft spot for them, but still - for fuck's sake - having her killed? And how fucked up of a murder plan was that? Taking a stroll in a rough neighborhood in South Africa during the honeymoon - did he really think that this is believable?

It is really sad for the woman as she could have easily gotten a good guy for marriage, but I guess the combination of abusive Dark Triad traits that many gays display versus women coupled with some sensitive emotional availability and the pressure of the families made it a toxic concoction.

I personally have a few gay acquaintances though all of them are balanced and even quite masculine - they still told me enough sordid stories of their community to know fully well that women should quickly forget any Hollywood stories about having a deep friendship or god forbid marriage with the wide majority of them. One guy even told me in sordid detail of how disgusting he thinks women are and how the hell I could ever be attracted to them?

In any case - a sad story, while the media spins it and barely mentions him being gay, so as not to be accused of homophobia.

That's a shame - she's a cute broad.

And now those genes are lost.

Never take what gay men say about women as pure fact. A lot of them are just spiteful because they know they'd either never get laid as much or don't like how women can get access to more men than them.

They dont hate women because they're women and "eww icky". They hate them because women have power and they have fuck all.

This guy was suspect from the start and not one single mention of him being a homo was mentioned. I remember when it first hit. He gave off a different vibe, a sort of calculated crocodile tear case.

You are correct in the way the media will suppress him being a gay guy.

Thanks for posting this, I was following the case when it happened and could not figure out a motive for the murder. I wondered if the husband was getting framed to protect SA's tourism reputation from a story of a robbery murder.

Now it's pretty clear.

This is one of those tragic and sad stories.

A dirty fucking queer like him killing a girl for discovering his faggotry and destroying two families.

If he had any sense he would have just remained a 'single bachelor'

Look on the bright side! If he goes to prison he can get all the gay sex he wants!

Don't debate me.

Probably not an option in his culture.

Marriage to a gay man gone wrong

I think the OP is overreacting a bit on about the husband being called "gay"...the same website did call another guy “gay”.

There was a another case where a gay husband murdered his bride:

Quote:Quote:

'Gay bank worker strangled his wife with a vacuum cleaner pipe and burnt her body in garden incinerator after marrying her to hide his sexuality’

A bank worker who married to conceal his homosexuality strangled his wife a few months later with a metal vacuum pipe, a court heard yesterday.

Jasvir Ram Ginday throttled Varkha Rani and tried to destroy her remains in an incinerator after going through with the arranged marriage to please his parents.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in India last March – even though Ginday, 30, had confided in a friend years earlier that he was attracted to men, the jury were told

Quote:Quote:

‘His marriage was motivated by a desire to please his parents and conceal his homosexuality from them,’ Miss Gould said.

‘Over the years the defendant made contact with gay chat lines to discuss his sexuality, he developed a network of gay male friends and he attended gay clubs in the Birmingham area.’

Being gay is unacceptable in most South Asian cultures, sometimes a marriage of convenience occurs where a gay male will marry a lesbian female.

Quote:Quote:

Tariq lives alone, but you’d never know that if you visited his flat. All around his home are all the signs of a happy marriage, despite his wife living a few miles away. It’s a deception she willingly goes along with, however. She is a lesbian, he is gay, and neither can bear to tell their families – opting instead for the pretence of life as a straight couple through a marriage of convenience, which Tariq admits is a “farce” but might stop his wife from being killed by her parents.

Quote:Quote:

Tariq and his wife are both from south Asian origin, and believe it would be impossible – and dangerous – for them to reveal their true sexuality to their families due to cultural pressures. Hundreds of others just like them are seeking fellow gay partners of the opposite sex for sham marriages to escape the pressure from their demanding relations.

Quote:Quote:

Tariq (not his real name), a 32-year old solicitor, held his MOC wedding in 2008. “I personally consider this a forced marriage,” he says. “The fact is we both had to get married, full stop. Maybe we had a choice who to, but there was no choice about the marriage.

“We have to live far away enough from both our families for them not to turn up at our flat at short notice. My wife really lives with her real partner about 20 minutes away from me, and I don’t have a boyfriend at the moment, so I live alone. But if anyone turns up I call her, and she’s here.”
