One of the authors of the book A Billion Wicked Thoughts gives a talk about his research on what men and women are attracted to, and explains why his research found that straight men like she-males.

Interestingly he says that his research has found that globally, men in all societies are attracted to 4 particular body parts: Breasts, Butts, Feet, and Penises.

It's interesting to consider, nonetheless. Comedian Ron White summed it up like this:

The thing is that our current paradigm of homosexuality and heterosexuality is not-accurate. The mainstream view (an absurd one if you think about it) is that heterosexual people should find bodies of other sex arousing and bodies of their own sex repulsing but this is wrong.

The truth about healthy (hetero) sexuality is that a heterosexual person will appreciate both beautiful male body and beautiful female body, regardless of his own sex. Sex is beautiful in a healthy sense when between a two polarities - masculine and feminine. One polarity looks better if another is more polar. A female looks better with a distinctively masculine man and a man looks better with a distinctively feminine woman.

This is why bodybuilders (the majority of bodybuilders - that is those who are not gay) spend a lot of time looking in mirror and at other man's muscles but they are not gay. They obviously appreciate strong male bodies but that doesn't cause them to want to fuck those bodies. They want to fuck a sexy female body using a sexy male body thus creating a strong polarity.

When I look at my own well trained body or even at a well trained body of another man I am sure having sexual thoughts. But this doesn't make me gay. Because I have no wish to fuck another man. I fave a wish to fuck a woman using my sexy, well trained and well endowed male body. Sometimes we men look at another man and dream of having a body like his to fuck women with such a more masculine body. That is what motivates us to hit weights. And this is the same why men watch porn with well trained and well endowed men fucking women. They wish to fuck a very feminine woman with distinguished feminine features - big boobs, round ass and small feet with very distinguished masculine features - big muscles and long thick penis. Not everyone will put the effort to acquire such a body but everyone would like to have such a body and that has nothing to do with being gay.


The same is reason why women like to watch only pretty women playing leads in romantic comedies. You might think women would like to see plain janes or fatties, but no. That is because both sexes have an inborn appreciation for beauty of both sexes (most likely the evolutionary cause for measuring the beauty of our own sex is to detect rivals) and that doesn't make us gay.

What makes people gay is when they lose the feeling of polarity and when they abandon all standards for what is masculine and feminine. Then they are ready to become queers and dykes.

How does he figure that straight men like she-males?

The problem with academics is that they don't let any real life experience or common sense guide them - intuition and wisdom is forbidden. Which isn't so problematic when their experiments and surveys collect good, comprehensive data. But sometimes their data is not so good, but they carry on with drawing conclusions, and so they come to silly, stupid ones - they don't let common sense bound their conclusions and say, "hey, we probably fucked up somewhere along the way and that's why we got this result." And the academic process usually corrects that in the end anyway. I'm guessing that's how they concluded that men like she-males - that the data lacked insufficient detail to show how this is not a widespread heterosexual male phenomenon.

More likely: men are imagining themselves *as* the guy in the video fucking the woman, and as big cocks are considered a sign of sexual power and virility, they'd prefer their stand-ins to have one.

I read this book a couple years ago, pretty interesting stuff. A lot of their findings on women will come as no surprise to RVF though.

I think it's more a case of brain chemistry being flipped, rather than standards being abandoned. Polarity loss would be better applied to bisexuality.

Gays view the same sex like heteros view the opposite sex, but they still have an appreciation and respect for feminine beauty, not unlike a hetero female does.

This is evident in the way they admire female singers/performers, and their penchant for dressing, acting and speaking in an effeminate way.

I beleive most homos are technicly bisexual, but just only do their own sex out of conveniance or out of hatred for other sex.
