I find it strange for all the ads we have seen about the effects of smoking being bad, conversely there are a plethora of articles about obese women that are celebrated.

Never mind whether or not being a fat beast is attractive or not (it's not), but how did this become not only acceptable but celebrated when it is clearly so unhealthy?
