Increasing the Pump






The pump is awesome. Love the pump. Be the pump.

However my pump only lasts about 15-20 minutes. Does anybody have any tips for making this last longer? I like meeting up with girls after I go to the gym for maximum effect but if there are any delays my pump is gone by the time I meet them.

You would need to buy a product that would increase blood pressure. Heard about Enoxide, but have no clue if efficient/dangerous.

Wouldn't touch these kind of products personally.

There was this method where you stop blood from circulating so blood pressure raises. It also helps to get greater muscles. It´s scientifically studied.

Beta-alanine gave me noticeably bigger and longer lasting pumps, nothing crazy or anything, but probably worth looking into. Good supplement to be taking regardless.

Also I think I remember reading somewhere that introducing isometric holds at the end of your sets also helps give you a bigger pump.

Pre workouts have additives that help give you a better pump in the gym and you'll maintain it longer after.

I reccomend C4 over the No explode 2.0

Pure arganine (cheep as on amazon) works too. It is contained with other ingredents in the pre workouts.

If you can't do any better, you've settled. --me--

I've experienced a better and longer lasting pump not from weightlifting, but from swimming (freestyle). I'm not talking copious amounts of laps either.

It really pops the chest, back and arms, and is when I'm at my most vascular.

Note - this is close to my peak by the way, I'm not always at this body fat% (and on the back of that, your body fat will determine the quality of the pump too, in aesthetic terms).

Pumps are usually combination of carbs, a nitric oxide producing supplement & heavy isolation work the muscle groups you're looking to pump up.

Some supplements that can help are agmatine & l-citrulline. Also, some PDE5 inhibitors have peripheral pump effects rather than just acting on your dick. It can be fun to go to the gym after popping a viagra (bust a nut beforehand so you're not easily aroused haha)
