I read an article in the NY times about how the feds are focusing on three cities as "Jihad Pipelines". Apparently there have been a noticeable number of people recruited for Jihadist activities.

Can you guess what three cities are being targeted?

Boston, Minneapolis, and Los Angeles.

Very not surprised about Boston. The 9/11 terrorists took off from here, the Tsarenauv brothers, etc etc. The muslim community in this town festers quietly thanks to progressive policies of the lib tards around here.

Minnesota doesn't surprise me either. There is a very large Somali population there and the Lutheran charities that brought them there are once again going to understand what tolerance really means.

The article quotes Kastigar's mother a lot, but where was his father during all this? Not a single word is mentioned about either McCain or Kastigar's fathers in the entire article.

Turns out Kastigar was raised in a single parent home by his mom and McCain's dad died at some point during his youth.

These losers can pop out anywhere. The media and government need to be less PC and say things for what they truly are. Tell people the facts about jihad and islam. Don't give an opinion, leave the good and the bad on the table...... Knowing, the "bad" I doubt that many would even consider blowing themselves up or causing harm to others for a faith.

Armenians are Christians. Many of the Persians in LA ran away from Iran in 1979 when it become Islamic - many of them consider themselves secular. Most middle easterners in LA are either secular, Christian or Jewish.

There's also Muslim Bangladeshis in Los Angeles, but fortunately most of them are not as fanatical about religion as some of their counterparts in UK. I saw a Little Bangladesh sign on the 101 last week.

The watch list in LA makes more sense when you consider that they may not be focusing just on middle eastern immigrants. It's likely the southeast asian immigrants from indonesia (jihadist hub), thailand, and the philippines who are on priority watch lists. There was a former senator named Leland Yee who struck a secret arms deal with a terrorist group (Abu sayyaf) in the philippines. There were also quite a few filipino-americans involved in arms trafficking and other terrorism financing activities from CA. It just doesn't make the mainstream press as much because they aren't involved in stateside terror.

"Progressive policies," you mean like the free exercise of religion clause in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution?

My MD in the USA is a "Mo" - a Mohammed. I also worked with too many good Muslims in Iraq, a few of whom were killed after courageous work, to characterize all or even many Muslims as jihadists.

Better we stop interfering in Arab countries so much, that would solve 99% of the terrorism problem.

I agree with SP5 only a small percentage-- even less really, just a few outlier individuals-- of people who call themselves Muslims are mass murderers..

Obama put it well when he said something like "no religion advocates the murder of innocents."

I for one would like to work on Psy Ops utilized local stigmaspeak to start portraying "Jihadists" in terms of mental illness, gay men who had been molested by their mothers, closet alcoholics. anything so when these videos of murdering assholes come out, the first thing that springs into people's minds is "I wonder if he slept with his mother."

Repressive sexual culture is at the root of a lot of this shit. When you look at the rape-fests and the camp followers ISIS seems to be attracting, it's probably attractive to some sexually frustrated young men with no outlet.

The problem is that tribal and religious justifications for the sexual repression are deep in their culture. Modernity in the form of movies, pop music, satellite TV, fashion, feminism, and porn is tearing it down. Those are the same things which disgust many of us. Always cultural dilemmas.

They are Middle Eastern – I was in Glendale just this morning which is Armenian central. I work with a few. Armenia borders Iran and there’s also Armenians from Syria, Iran, Israel, Russia, Lebanon & Russia in the area.
