A lot of you guys are probably familiar with legendary art project/metal band GWAR. Several months ago, their singer Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) died of a drug overdose. GWAR plans to continue on by introducing a woman as one of two lead singers:

I can't imagine 99.9% of men, let alone a woman, would be able to fill Brockie's shoes. Yet here we have another example of social justice warriors shoehorning women into places where they don't belong. Absolutely disappointing. Looks like I'll be skipping GWAR on the next tour.

As for GWAR, if it keeps them touring and pays the bills to add a woman up front, good for them.

If the music's good (or at least "good enough", this is GWAR after all) then people will support them, if it's bad then they will probably use the old 'creative differences' excuse and show her the door.
