Future of the Red Pill/Manosphere

I got to thinking the other, dangerous I know, but hear me out. I read all the time about America going to hell in a hand basket, and in a lot of ways, it is. I read about how other countries do it better in terms of how they raise their women, how their society functions, and in some ways yeah, Thailand is better, Hungary is better, etc. etc. But my same complaint about charities that do their good works over seas when the same solutions are need at home applies here. Why isn't the manosphere (hence forth, we) doing anything about the political and legislative climate at home.

Given the podcasts I listen to, the in depth and well researched articles I read, the cogent thought, and the time committed to making ourselves into better men, are we not the best people to take the reigns of the country we constantly malign? Are we not, in all likelihood, some of the most charismatic, articulate, well read, and successful people in the country when compared to our peers? Do we not have the breadth and depth necessary in different cities and communities across the country to make an impact for the better in the towns, school districts, and legislative districts we live in?

It doesn't matter where you fall on the political spectrum, though I'll go out on a limb and say many of us are conservative fiscally and can see the country is heading fast and furious to an end we can't afford. I'll go further and say that I think the vast majority of us, when it comes time to vote, would vote for a Libertarian if they were a truly viable third party, and that in all likelihood, because many of us are realists, pull the lever for the Republican because they're the far lesser of two evils.

Of all the issues plaguing this country, are men not the most reasonable people to make those decisions? Men are rational where women and liberals are emotional, men are proactive where women and liberals are reactive, and men are protective when and where it matters where women and liberals are inclusive to a fault. Nearly all of the issues plaguing this country can be solved by sober thinking, level headed men in positions of authority to make them. That's why I propose the following (which I will begin to apply to myself, and will redouble when I find a place to call home for the foreseeable future).

We should begin to inject ourselves into local public office. Take that how you will. If you're later on in life and have kids, running for the school board to be a voice against the idiotic rules they come up with and the left leaning curriculum they're taught would be a giant step in the right direction for future generations as well as providing a true male role model for themselves to look up to.

If you're younger, volunteer for a campaign within a party or organization that believes enough of what you do that you can support them. Network and make a name for yourself, if the opportunity arises, work for the candidate should he win. Groom yourself as a replacement or a candidate in another district.

Be active in your local government. How many plastic bag bans, taxes, handouts or trains to nowhere (CA specific clusterfuck) could have been avoided had a man with the courage of his convictions and the balls to make them known spoken up about the painfully obvious stupidity that surrounds each of those votes.

I may be wrong (I’m not afraid to accept criticism for my opinions when they are based in fact, and I welcome discourse always so I’m wrong I want to know so I won’t be wrong in the future), and I may be overstating our potential, but I truly believe we have the power to silently, and successfully bring America back to the power and prestige we once held if we only choose to seize it. Beta's will cower at way we hold ourselves, yet look up to use when we speak the truth, and show them a better way. Women will flock to you as the Alpha running for and winning public office (perhaps a return to the halcyon days of JFK could be in order when both the work of the nation and Marilyn Monroe got done in the Oval Office). I know there's lots of folks extolling the virtues of working in the oil sands for 6 months and reaping six figures, so I leave you with this classic Frank Underwood quote: "Money is the Mc-mansion in Sarasota that starts falling apart after 10 years. Power is the old stone building that stands for centuries. I cannot respect someone who doesn't see the difference."

For a very recent example, look to the Ron Paul campaign since this is exactly what a lot of his more politically-minded supporters did.

It didn't work.

Where they were unsuccessful they were ignored. Where they were threatening success, the existing powers changed procedural rules to make sure that they would not achieve any success. Then they were ignored.

You are currently suffering from what I would consider a "blue pill" mindset in regards to the American political system. The system is not in place to serve your needs or give voice to the under-represented or to provide justice or any other nonsense you learned in high school civics class. The system exists for its own sake, the system serves its own needs, and any threat to the status quo that comes from within the system will be squashed. There are trillions of dollars that are shuffled around thanks to the system and not a single one of these powerful people who are the beneficiaries will allow you to disrupt their gravy train.

In any case, the politics of a country reflects the culture. Whatever cultural ideals we had in the past that bubbled up to the political level are gone. We have become a decadent culture that is concerned about our immediate material needs and pleasures. There is no regard for our families, our children, or our children's children. We care more about Hollywood celebrities than our neighbors. We fill up our homes with disposable material garbage instead of creating wealth to last generations. That is the culture our politics reflects.

The root of the problem in the Anglosphere is cultural, not political. Getting elected to the school board will change nothing. You want to make a mark on the world? Have lots of kids and raise them right. If the corrupting influences of the Anglosphere are too strong to do this, then leave the Anglosphere. If you are American then at some point one of your ancestors had to make an equally hard decision about where they wanted their grandchildren to grow up. Maybe it's time for us to consider the same decision.

The only way this movement will take hold is with a media outlet to control the "masses". A red-pill style TV network with an investigative journalist outlet that calls a lot of the BS we see out. Some type of muckraking that Joseph Pulitzer would be proud of.

It will also need some good TV shows to capture an audience. Television and to a smaller extent the internet are the only medium that can be used to sway public opinion sentiment.

The public can be swayed via the "circuses". Ron Paul was ignored in the MSM in the same way we're ignored. Get an outlet with enough eyes and these issues and candidates will be brought out.

I tend to disagree from the standpoint that while believing in the government is blue pill, that controlling it and returning it to the way it ought to be (in my/our eyes) is about as red pill as it gets. Seeing the situation for what it really is (red pill) and attempting to control it and make it your bitch seems like a fairly alpha thing to do.

That said, the other side to attempting to wrest control, is to embrace the decline and fiddle (fuck and get paid) while Rome burns; and then pick up the pieces and start over.

Alternately, and at the top of my list of most likely outcomes, a 2nd revolution lead by pissed of men of substance and character like us. What can't be denied is that we're spending money we don't have, nearly half the country is on the dole to some extent, and the country is so politically correct that kraping is a thing. At some point taxes will be so high and legislation so oppressive on the people that make money and contribute to the economy that all it will take will be a match to put the voting takers back in their place.

Politics really fires me up. Some days I would love to get politically active and duke it out with our enemies. Domestic enemies. I respect your post, and understand where you're coming from. Best thing we can do is spread information and knowledge with a relentless attack using media and the internet. To help change the way people view their country, and the errors of their Marxist ways. Over time, our line of thinking will leave the margins and hopefully become more mainstream. To "wake people up"' as cliche as that is. We have one life to live, and I'd rather live life well than to try and fight delusional idealogues in the political arena. That's revenge. If you feel like putting on a suit and tie and trying to be a red pill congressman power to you. Do what makes you happy, and gives your life a sense of purpose with honor. Just stay true to your convictions, power corrupts.

I'll disagree with Dog about the Ron Paul campaign. The man and his campaign had a great impact and were quite successful in injecting libertarian values into the psyche of our current political climate. The dent may have been small, but they made a dent nonetheless. Perhaps over time, the sphere will make its dent.

Personally I want more people to figure out ways to vote with their feet, go Galt, and starve the beast. As soon as tax revenues start drying up from men in masse, that will really raise eyebrows.

Dreams are like horses; they run wild on the earth. Catch one and ride it. Throw a leg over and ride it for all its worth.
