Mahalo For The Kind Words!

As many of you know a terrible earthquake hit Japan the other day.

There was a tsunami warning issued for us here in Hawaii, and I was forced to evacuate my home. I couldn't leave my boats in the harbor so my people and I took them out to sea. The water rose and fell a few times, but wasn't anything severe. The little Asian girl I had with me got a little queesy but handled.

When it got to the last minute, and I absolutely had to leave, I could not find my cat of many years, Charles, anywhere. I really didn't sleep tsunami night, and on top of being depressed about all of the tragic shit associated with the quake, I shook the cat food holder all damn day yesterday. Charles sleeps on the beach, and the water (or crack/ice heads) came up high enough to take a shitty jet ski I didn't care about away. I was worried that Charles was sleeping and had drowned.

Well I am happy to report that about an hour ago Charles just walked in the house like nothing happened!!! He had a little meal then went right back to attacking the dog.

I got quite a few private messages wishing me well from the brothers on this forum. I can't give you enough mahalos! I was really pissed and depressed about the whole scenario, but the kind words from you guys cheered me up a little. I remember getting some support and good luck wishes from you guys the last time a tsunami came my way.

Thank you all very much.

Aloha!

From one islander to another, I wish you and your countrymen all the best in the face of these difficult and tragic events. The sea that destroys also gives life and I´m confident that the good life will soon return to the beautiful Hawaiian islands.
