Has anyone toyed with the idea of starting a small porn site? I actually do online SEO so I think I could prevent it from being a money pit, though with the crazy competition in this market, the goal would just be to get to breakeven.

I think it would make a cool weekend gig especially for those who can't travel all the time

I agree. Unless you have big name performers, really hot girls that guys want to see, or you have some fetish niche carved out for yourself that's hard to find otherwise you are gonna have a tough time turning a buck. The explosion of free sites like YouPorn is killing profits for producers. I would not want to be just starting out in that industry.

Some guys have gotten real creative and carved out new niches. I remember when the Bangbus videos came out like five years back, it just blew up. Nobody had ever seen anything like that, and many people believed at first that it was real on top of that. It was entertaining as hell. For those that don't know, it was a bunch of guys in Miami driving around in a van. All filmed with amateur equipment, they would start macking it up to some random girl on the street. They'd eventually get her to ride with them after a bunch of resistance. Some guy would start sexually escalating, she'd resist, there might even be arguments and shit, but before you knew it she was getting fucked. I have the feeling they all knew a lot about game too because their escalations were pretty good. Then they'd kick her out of the van with her screaming epithets about being dropped off in the middle of nowhere with the guys laughing about it. It was all so realistically acted I could see why it fooled people at first. I worked for a porn company at the time so I knew you have to have all kinds of legal shit signed before you can release these on the market so no way that wasn't staged. But a lot of people fell for it. I'm sure those dudes make a ton of money and spent virtually nothing on production. Just a couple horny guys willing to fuck for damn near free, some amateur actress $500 and throw in a crappy old van. Those dudes turned that into millions. Now that was creative!
