I rarely read anything that has to do with politics, but today I did and it looks like a woman named Michele Bachmann wants to throw her panties in the hat for a chance to be president. What do you guys think would happen if her or Palin were elected president?

I think the "president" is just a a face chosen by the people behind the curtain, heshe is no different than a representative of a corporation (or puppet) telling us what we want to hear.

What difference does it make? I vote for people based on the qualifications, how much I agree with their politics and whether I think they'd make an effect leader. Their demographic background means nothing to me. Many countries have had female heads of state. E.g., England, Chile, Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Philippines, Israel, Ireland, Switzerland even Pakistan of all places. What's the big deal?

I wouldn't worry about Palin ever being President, she's a sell-out and after she cashed-in on her stint as Gov of Alaska, she'll never be taken seriously as a political candidate again.

As for the future... I wouldn't rule it out, but I certainly wouldn't like it either.

Actually Bachmann was a pretty heavy hitting Tax attorney. She's sharp. And Palin may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but she understands big government isnt in our best interest. If you want to see the US fall reelect Obama - there is no way we make it thru 4 more years of that clown w/o serious problems as a country.

If a woman were President I think there would no longer be any wars and we would all love each other because women teach us compassion, respect, and all of the nice things in life we as men, and our male forbears, were not able to achieve.

In all seriousness though, the real question is... how would the country be different if the majority in control of the congress were female?

I think abortion would be fully legalized (good thing imo), and that's basically all i can think of that would be radically different.

Oh wait, I forgot... they would make a law that a threesome would be 2 guys and 1 girl, any other situation would be considered rape.
