Asuncion, Paraguay

I decided to go to Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay next month to brush up and improve my spanish language skills.

Why did I decide to go there?

1) cost of living is cheap (hotel rooms at 200-300 US$ a month)
2) spanish language
3) girls seem pretty

I've been hooking up on-line with girls from Paraguay and they
seem pretty, open minded. Some chicks even swear they will suck my mr. Joe up on arrival in the city.

Anyone has experience in Paraguay?

Lumiere should give his feedback about this city.

grew up there, but not been there recently.
I might go for a "asado" weekend with my school mates soon, but nothing yet decided.

Girls on average are decent looking.
Middle to high class can have many stunners, more or less like Argentina or Uruguay, but you need to be in their circle of friends.

Lumiere is more up to date on PY

Was only there for four days and spent the entire time banging a Paraguyan chick I met online so I can't really comment about clubs as I did not go to any and nor did I do any approaches

I liked Britannia pub (downtown) and Paseo Carmelitos is the main nightlife / clubbing area and was has some nice bars. Did not try the clubs.

Didn't Roosh see a dead bat near there once?

Sorry...

Anyway, I am curious to see what your experience is Tommy. It seems like you'll have the place to yourself.

Changed plans unfortunately. Will probably be staying in Europe the next 6 months for business reasons. Paraguay is a counry I really want to visit. My plan after I deal with business here is: Brazil for a couple of weeks then take a bus to Paraguay. The cost of living seems interesting so I hope theres some decent lifestyle to be had.

That's all you have to say about Asuncion? C'mon give us more information. There are lots of girls on Badoo and I found quite a few who can maintain a written conversation in english.

So, where are you staying? How much you pay a night? What about the food? The girls? The nightlife scene? How about transportation, do you use taxis or buses? Have you been outside of the city?

I am moving to Asuncion in a few weeks (for a few years). Who knows the right places, or some of the mentioned "hard to approach groups of chicks" there?

Asuncion is amazing. I will bust out a fact sheet. I've been to BA before and its great, but in terms of quality of the women Paraguay can't be beat. They have all types there. From morenas to blondes. They know how to party, dance and are really friendly.
And unlike other parts of SA, they are actually really approachable, maybe not in a group but if they are a little away or dancing by themselves. I've only been once and done really well. Am planning to go again.

Negatives: MUST know and be somewhat fluent in Espanol. From the airport/taxis to the hotels. I didn't hear a drop of English.
And aside from the people not much scenery. Except some falling apart monuments downtown Asuncion.
The city center is muy feo. And taxis will try to rip you off. One of the girls I met refused to take them near my hotel after we hung out one night and called her family friend who was a taxista.

All the good spots are north of the centro. Not good, kick ass places. With the hottest chicks I've seen. Period.
Did I mention friendly… Oh I think I did.

The data sheet below is dead on, Paseo Carmelitas is where its at. Especially if you want to sport the Norte Americano thang.
I definitely thinks that helps too. If you like reggaeton, Face is a must to check out also. I was there 5 days.

Glad to see another Paraguayan convert.

Knowing a few words of Guarani really impresses Paraguayan girls

Mba'eichapa! "What's up?"
