Best Job Recommendations?

I work as a cashier for a high-end grocery store in the Cleveland area.

In all seriousness, I want to fucking quit because I don't get paid enough to deal with the following:

1) A creepy-ass 40-something lady hitting on me (and other dudes) almost every damn time she shops there (she's ugly and fat as all hell and one time called me the "sexiest man alive". I am a 5'8 nerd who is trying to crack a porn addiction and I have never had sex. If I'm the sexiest man alive, then Jeff Gordon is the pope.)

2) Inability to apply and run game on the decent-looking chicks that come to the store, lest I get written up by the feminist management.

3) Customers that come through my line with cartloads of stuff at random times of the day, and having to bag their shit because they're too damn lazy to do it themselves.

I'm looking for some ideas for jobs (barback is one idea) that I can make serious money, game hot chicks without the risk of being written up by HR, and something I can fucking enjoy.

Any and all answers would be appreciated.

Why not change it then?

"having to bag their shit because they're too damn lazy to do it themselves."

Do you think you're too good for this? There are people in the world that clean other people's shit for a living. They have no other options and are content.

But you have options (I think) and you're not content.

I say do some research and get a trade, College or not. For example, search the oil sands threads here on the forum.

Shit, if I didn't have what I have, you can sure as shit bet that I'd be busting my left nut at some rig in the jungles of Canada having bears over for fucking coffee.

You're looking for easy answers and asking easy questions. Show some initiative first (passion, motivation, goals) and appreciation for what you have. And trust me, people (including myself) will bend over backwards to help you.

If 40yo creepy women hit on you, they think they have a chance. As you improve yourself they will see you're out of their league and stop bothering you.

If you have no skill, study or learn a trade, then go job-seeking (don't quit your current job before you secured something better) and do the roosh program http://www.rooshv.com/the-roosh-program

Depends on what sort of shit you enjoy doing? Clearly, you dislike working with costumers and, possibly, would dislike any sort of sales type position. Am I right?

No shame in disliking that sort of stuff. However, you should look into a field that has more indepedence. The brutal truth is that nothing is easy. Just remember that. Or, I should say, nothing worth doing is easy.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

Okay so first off good idea asking for recommendations. I always talk about how...how the hell can I know what job I want when there's a million jobs out there I don't even know about. I mean just for example a buddy of mine was thinking about starting a biz cleaning rail cars. I never even thought about how rail cars are cleaned. If I did I'd just assume whoever owned them cleaned them but its a tough job, it takes time, your sometimes dealing with hazardous items. It makes more sense to pay someone than to hire an employee, pay benefits, pay hazardous waste rmoval fees. It's a pretty simple operation but you can make good money. Just an example about unless you seek out info you will never know about all the posibilities out there.

I should aslo add that just because I love my job doesn't mean you will. I have buddies who love their jobs and talk about how much they love them however I know I would be miserable doing their job. There's no such thing as a "good" job necessarily, there are jobs that suit your skills and/or interests that makes it a good job.

I see myself as where you are a few years back. I actually worked at a grocery store too. I used to hate my job and most every job I had and had a similar view towards my work as you. I used to wonder how do people love their jobs. It wasn't until I found a job that suited me that I was like okay this is cool. I wouldn't do it for free but I don't mind going to work. I wound up parlaying that into my own biz which I will be leaving my fulltime job to do that fulltime in the next month.

I'm not trying to pick on you but have two small critiques for you. First is attitude, you mention why don't they bag their own fucking groceries. Why? Because you are there and you are paid to bag their groceries, don't bitch about doing your own job your paid to do. THat is your job to bag their groceries.

Secondly, I get you hate your job, I hated my grocery job too. Not sure which grocer you work for but Whole Foods, Trader Joes and Costco are actually pretty sought after jobs. Supposedly they are pretty employee friendly, some offer benefits and from what I hear above average pay so realize, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. You may wind up at a job which sucks even more or at the very least doesn't have as many benefits. I'm not saying your gig does but if you work at any of the places I mentioned realize many people are actually seeking those jobs.

Also, realize your compliants about your job are complaints about any job. You have to do your job, ie bag groeries thats any gig. Your bartenders aren't gonna be happy if your gaming hot chicks instead of filling their wells with beer and ice. Getting hit on by people you don't like again any customer service job this is a potential.

Laslty, you seem to have this illusion some job is just going to pay you for hitting on chicks. Barback is actually a pretty tough job, its not at all glamorous like you seem to think. Granted a bar is a bit of a more relaxed atmosphere so yeah that will probably better than a grocery store in that its a bit less stuffy but your going to be running around crazy bringing ice, etc. Not sure how you feel about staying til 4 am cleaning up puke and putting away tables because that is often what a barback is.

I'm not trying to be a dick but just trying to give you a bit of a reality check
