I think I might just be a strange case because I'm from a very working class background in East London where everyone would go on these holidays but I, for one reason or another, never could / wanted to make it to one. I actually got offered to visit "Shagaluf" last month and this makes me feel like I should have gone.

A British holidaymaker believed to be high on the party drug Cannibal was arrested on a beach in Magaluf after trying to bite bathers.
Ten policemen were needed to detain the man in Mallorca, who later admitted he had taken 'a load of drugs'.
Disturbing video of the arrest shows the man screaming at police in an animalistic way as he is pinned to the ground by several people after trying to bite multiple bathers on the beach.

He is then shown being secured to a stretcher and carried to an ambulance by police and medical staff.
The 28-year-old is believed to have taken the drug known as Cannibal, which is sold over the internet as bath salts.
He reportedly walked along the beach attempting to bite anyone who got in his way and sending tourists running away for their own safety.

When police and ambulance staff arrived on the scene, the drugged-up tourists also tried to nite them before being restrained.
The drug is said to increase aggressiveness in the extreme and has become popular in the Balearic islands this summer.
Four people have been hospitalised in Ibiza in recent days after taking the drug and Spanish police believe it is being sold in nightclubs after a large shipment arrived on the islands.

Haha. I've not heard of this drug but it sounds mad. I always wonder what these drugs (also PCP which supposedly makes you want to kill and eat people) are really like.

I've tried a fair few drugs in my time but have generally been disappointed. I see myself trying some of this 'cannibal', I'd just fancy a peanut butter sandwich.

I've only got the German flag up there because I'm always across Europe and Germany was where I was staying while updating my profile. The German tourists are pretty similar to Brits, though, save for their liking of awful techno which Brits seemed to get over in the late '90s.

I'm sure there are people with more experience than me who might be able to better answer this question, but based on the people I know who've been to these places, Ayia Napa is probably the most extreme in terms of general chavviness. It's the place where you'd go if you wanted to listen to grime, which perhaps isn't all bad as a musical genre but attracts the worst kind of people.
