Turmeric as a natural cure
06-30-2014, 10:17 AM
Has anyone here used turmeric as a natural boost to their immune system and overall health? I've heard amazing stuff about it, like that it cures cancer and many other diseases. I read it has like 1000s of medical applications.
Someone was saying the best way to use it is to mix a teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of milk (since it needs fat in order to absorb properly) and also to eat a couple of black pepper grain balls since black pepper helps it absorb much better too.

Some guys on the Good Looking Loser forum were saying it also acts as a mood booster and is a natural antidepressant.
Overall, it appears that turmeric is the healthiest spice you can eat.

I've heard about some of this but I just use it when making rice or chicken soup.
If only you knew how bad things really are.

You are a mind reader. I bought some the other day and I was mixing with coconut oil (I don't drink milk) and black pepper. Report back with findings, please.
I've been drinking 1 cup of soy milk (soy, maybe that's why I'm so beta, guys...), with one teaspoon of turmeric in each cup 4 times a day, along with some black peppercorn, for the past week, and the pain in my wrist is gone. I've also noticed a higher energy level, better mood, and feel good, overall.
Google "turmeric cures cancer", if you take turmeric daily, you'll never get cancer.

Tumeric is one of the most beneficial things you can put in your body. My go to drink in winter is turmeric tea. This can be made any number of ways but to keep it simple:
-2 cups boiling water
-2 teaspoons of turmeric (freshly grated if you can)
-1 teaspoon of ginger root
-1 teaspoon of raw organic honey (optional)
Steep for ten minutes and enjoy. Drink this shit daily and you won't get sick. period.

If you know what Im going to ask please confirm:
I remember seeing a forum member comment on a diet/supplement thread that he used some ground spice to effectively treat his alopecia, even stating that he could notice some new hair growth after a couple of weeks.
Was it turmeric? I did a search on the forum but couldnt find anything.
I also wrote it down somewhere when I saw that to remember to get some of that spice, but I cant find the notebook where I wrote that.
