This seems like a hoax, but if it's real, it's incredibly funny and a guaranteed payday for the gaytard in question. Because after hearing this story on the news, an army of activist lawyers eager for justice and a cut of that check descended on his house.

And of course the media eats it up, because the homosexual persecution farce must be constantly kept fresh in the public consciousness.
