I was thinking about a few girls I opened in the past week or so.

Almost all of my openers were just things I noticed about the girl in that moment.

For example, a girl might have a mismatch between her fingernail polish and toenail polish. Or she'll have fingernail polish and NOT toenail polish. And I just point and say something like "why the different colors?"

Obviously this works best if you're in proximity to a girl already. If you traverse across a room to tell her about her nail polish, it would kill the casualness of it.

Another girl was walking beside me in the mall and she had a scar on her arm so I just casually and warmly said "what happened there?" while pointing.

Then if she's receptive I'll start teasing her about it like "what did you get in a fight with a ladyboy?" or "did you get that in prison?"

So the formula is

Notice something about the girl (not the environment; the girl) +
ask about it warmly and with good eye contact +
find a way to tease her about it +
find ways to casually touch the girl

Another girl tonight, very fucking hot, was wearing these crazy white booty jeans and popping right out of those things. The brand name tag on the back still had a sticker from the store that said "M" on it.

I pointed it out to her and got into a short chat with her and her friend. Language barrier was bad and I didn't get the digits (not an excuse god dammit!).

This is pretty much what my game revolves around. Just breaking through the stranger barrier and then slowly escalating the touching, getting the contact info, etc.

It's important to note that my sexual intent is threaded through all my communications. There is no possible confusion in a girl's mind as to why I'm asking her about her scar, her shopping bag or cute little toenails. She knows what I want...

Finally, I noticed that a lot of times I'll have a great initial interaction and get the girl primed for a re-contact later on but for whatever reason don't push for the digits.

I don't get down on myself about because there's way too much pussy in Bangkok. But then I think you have to train yourself to do the right actions. Picking up chicks is exhausting. There's a performance element to it. And you do that whole song and dance and then don't have anything to show for it?

I'll be taking my own advice. Keep evolving, ya'll.

Awesome advice. There's 3 basic ways to open indirect

1. Pull her into your reality - asking directions, advice on a purchase, advice on a coffee shop.
2. Commenting on something going on around you - the overall situation.
3. Notice something about her. This is especially effective if you notice her clothing because you're not necessarily paying her a compliment, but you noticed her. You also need this to initiate elderly chat. The whole premise is to notice her laptop / phone / accessory and combine that with #1, "Hey is that a good phone? I want to get a new one..."

By learning to be observant, you're also going to start to pick up on little things like dilating pupils or body language.

VV, your store tag opener is awesome. It's a built in neg - "hey you left the tag on those jeans". Of course you were checking out her butt, but you noticed the flaw.

This works better in places where relations between men and women are not poisoned. Where it's normal for men and women to simply talk to one another without there being an expectation of irony and hidden meanings.

It should be the most natural thing in the world for a guy to comment on some girl's nail polish, or notice something about her boots. In some countries (Colombia, Thailand) it is. In other countries it's creepy and you're better off going indirect. It depends on the girl.

What drives them nuts is, if you can sense what they fell, e.g. something is wrong. I never notice things like a new haircut, but I immediately know if something is up. Very powerful, but I don't know how to learn that skill.

"Noticing" something very specific is a big part of my game.

Clothes, hair, nails, shoes, scarves, colors, fabrics, etc.

I learned the following technique from my friends dad..

College girls often wear tshirts/sweatshirts/backpacks/etc with their schools name and logo on it.

Whenever I see a girl advertising her school, I immediately say -- "hey, do you go to (insert the name of her school)?

I then ramble about whatever information, knowledge, or experience I have about that school.

This is a very simple observational opener.

Yeah, being observant makes for a good conversation. In "How To win Friends & Influence People," Dale Carnegie talks about this briefly. He says we should follow the rule of "always making the other person feel important." If you observe something about them—however subtle it may be—speak on it to engage in a conversation with them.

It's funny how a lot of his advice can be used to game girls as well.

One of the key staples of my game is to ask her a lot of question. Not in a creepy way but questions that fit the situation. Be witty and tease her. Let her do most of the talking. You don't want to talk about yourself unless she specifically asks you something

Works in reverse too. Pre-smartphone girls were hyper-observant about details, so I'd offer them masculine signifiers to comment on. I've been opened by girls because of my boot chains or cowboy boots; sometimes for my grandfather's pocket watch; a handful of times for the silver match container my great-granduncle used during WWI when I'd light my cigarettes or cigarillos, which I'd say I 'discovered' hidden in his house after a series of prophetic dreams led me to it: "I mean, I'm not saying I believe in ghosts, but it's strange, hey?"

Hell, a simple notebook often does the job. Most girls are arrogant enough to think you must be drawing or writing about them. I mean, what else could you be doing?

The simplest version of this is the 'I like' statement, as in:

'I like your hat…'
'I like your hair…'
'I like your pants…'
'I like your bag..'
'I like your style..'
'Cute dog..'
etc.

Then I usually ask where they got it, and then, boom, you're in a conversation with 'em.

Pretty spontaneous interactions. But these conversations seem pretty short and I think daybang recommends about 10 mins of talking before going for the number. How did you continue with the conversations and how many of these actually led to numbers?

If you pay attention to detail you can usually pick out what a woman considers her best feature to be. You can break the ice by complimenting it specifically, presuming it's not something as base a whopping great set of tits.

A fresh hair cut or colouring is usually a dead giveaway. Some 6s go to great lengths to maintain a 10 head of hair, and I've never gotten a negative response from complimenting it out of the blue.

These are good openers but talking about things like her hair can only go on for so long without starting to sound creepy/gay especially for someone new to game. Many newbies, I can imagine, will then start asking more personal questions which will make her shut off.

Thatswhy Roosh's elderly opener can be good because you can keep it going even though its boring, assuming she is more interested in talking to you rather than the topic itself and one can find an object to talk about.

This is real life.

We can't always scrip and plan an interaction to go exactly the way we want.

Most times, we have to adjust to the reality of the situation -- Standing near a girl on the subway, waiting in line near a girl at the coffee shop, passing a girl on the street, in an elevator with a girl, shopping for food near a girl...

I'm not going to worry about anyone's "rules"...

Approaching girls is about getting out of your logical mind and enjoying the physical experience. It's about FEELING, not THINKING!

Are you having fun? Is she having fun? Is there a sense of humor and playfulness to the interaction? Is the vibe warm or cold? Is she talking and asking questions?

These questions are much more important than worrying about whether or not you reached the 10 minutes mark.

Be guided by your intuitive sense and feelings, not your logical, over analyzing mind.
