Hayek vs Keynes: Rap Battle's 1 and 2

These videos are really great. They express through their imagery the savage beating with which Hayek's arguments have routinely decimated Keynes excuses for ceding more and more power to the richest and most elite in our society (all in the guise of helping the unemployed of course).

Notice at the end of the second video. Keynes, the arguer for government intervention to help the poor by centrally planning the economy via central banks, is lauded by the politicians, media, and bankers, while Hayek, is celebrated by the lowly small business owners, professional class, and middle class.

Don't let sophistry and demagoguery fool you. Socialism and Keynesian theory is political cover for looting the elites competition, and this looting falls hardest on the middle class. The professional class is hit too via the inflationary tax, but their proclivity to own stocks offsets this. Until the end that is, where the result of government malfeasance of rampant spending is the same. Governmental bankruptcy and poverty for almost everyone. Except the elite of course. Who start the game over again.

I'd seen part 1, but I had no idea there was a part 2.
Holy shit, that's amazing. It actually stands up as a song, and those are pretty much the exact arguments that both sides make.

The production values of the second video are surprisingly great considering the subject matter, and that Bernanke character is pretty amazing. Very similar. I think the arguments are better in the first video however. Plus the Keynes and Hayek actors are pretty funny in other stuff too.
