There are a few predictions going on in the WC thread so I thought why not do a prediction league. The opening match has already finished but pretty much everyone would have predicted a Brazil win anyway so it doesn't matter.
Here are the rules.
1. Three points scored if you get the scoreline spot on
2. Only one point scored if scoreline in wrong but you correctly predicted the winner or that it would be a draw
3. All prediction posts much be unedited or they dont count
4. Ten extra points for predicting the winner of the world cup. This prediction must be posted when you make your first ever prediction post in this thread.
5. Five extra points for predicting the winner of the golden boot. Again this prediction must be posted when you make your first ever prediction post in this thread.
6. You should keep a tally of your own score and post it here. Not going to trawl through the entire thread and add up everyone's score for them.
7. Any match prediction made before kickoff is valid so you can either copy and paste the fixture list below and post all your predictions at once or you can just post them on the day of the game. Either way is fine as long as your predictions are posted before kickoff time.
In one month's time we will have a forum champion.
