The 1915 Version of Skittles Man Had It Tough

100 years ago, a 23-year-old married man named Harry Francis McClune had an affair with a 16-year-old girl named Eleanor Kohler.

We know this, because the scorned Mrs. McClune filed a $10,000 alienation-of-affection lawsuit against her. And it ended up on the front page of The Pittsburgh Press on April 28, 1915.

Harry Francis McClune clearly had some game. His 16-year-old honey says, “Mr. McClune never gave me money, never bought me anything in his life…once I had to ask him for five cents for carfare. But he never bought me even a present...After it was too late for me [i.e. they were banging], he told me he was married, but said his wife was getting a divorce, and as soon as he did, he would marry me.”

She is described (by the female reporter) as a prize: “Her hair is a wonderful, natural gold. Her eyes are blue and frank as a child’s. She has a complexion of pink and white perfection.”

McClune’s wife sued him for divorce, while the girl’s father “had both his daughter and McClune arrested.”

So it’s not surprising that she kept her hamstering to a minimum and showed an accountability unfamiliar to modern American women twice her age: “I see now how terrible were the things I did. And now, I just want to live it all down if I can, and, if being good and obedient to my parents and doing just what is right will do it, it will be done.”

The story goes on to further embarrass this wayward alpha: “Mr. McClune is at his home, 214 South Mathilda St. He is prominent in business circles.”

Divorced, arrested, publicly humiliated. That was the life of 1915’s Skittles Man.

P.S. A few years later, Harry Francis McClune was killed in World War I.

Most notable facts from the article:

1. A 23 year old is seen as a honorable married man and businessman - nowadays that is a different story
2. Even while the girl reacted to Game as was to be expected she needed some sweet lies in order to spread her legs. A promise of divorce and marriage was necessary in order to break her LMR. Nowadays you don't need any of that shit except for the most well-behaved girls.
3. Her father had something to say in those times. She also vowed to "behave" later on.
4. No one cared a shit, that a 23-yr-old was banging a 16 YRO girl. Age of consent laws as well as drinking age laws were subconsciously drafted to restrict the competition of 16-21 year old girls. The aging sluts were looking for the Beta Bucks and a bar filled with girls in their prime would be cryptonite for any 25-30-year-old carousel-rider.

At that time being a player was really morally much more wrong because women valued their virginity, valued the opinions of their fathers on their mating choices, valued family life and marriage vows. You couldn't sleep with a woman not pretending to intend to provide these things for her and if you lied then you were a liar and a fraud. I understand and do not condemn the honorable betas of that time punishing sneaky alphas of that time.

Nowadays, what most traditional and scornful or merely bigoted and jealous people do not understand is that women as a whole have abandoned these old values and replaced them with fun, fun, fun, lotsa cockas is fun YOLO lets get wasted "values". And that is what makes playing them morally clean, because it is not that we lie to women, they want to get pumped and dumped themselves. The few girls who still somewhat value the old values are collective hostages of the united policy and hive-mind of their sex and are dragged along, but if they choose to blame men and not their fallen sisters then that merely proves that in their subconscious they too are quite content with present hedonistic setup.

Exactly!! I have heard plenty of accusations of how evil Pump & Dump is while women do it non-stop. Sure - they are serial monogamists and would like to have one Super-Alpha commit to her, but they don't give a shit about fucking dozens of good-looking or famous/situational-Alpha Betas or even lesser Alphas - pumping and dumping them without remorse.
