[Collaboration] Can we start a subforum for collaborating on projects or hiring?

Hey, did a search and couldn't really find anything relevant. I was wondering if it would be allowed by mods to start a subforum or running thread on here where it could be either someone looking to hire someone for a project or looking for a partner for a project or business?

Reason I ask I've personally gotten some great advice and business tips from many members on this forum as well as shared some of my marketing advice with others. Shout-out to SammyTheBiker as he turned me onto to a really great real estate hustle I'm putting together money for right now.

Anyhow, lots of talented guys on here, I was just thinking I'd like a good designer to do some ebook covers for me. It would be great to be able to tap into some of the knowledge and skills of other members on this site as well as spend our money with others we have a connection with and somewhat of a trust with vs just a stranger off craigslist or Fiverr where who knows what quality of work you will get.

A while back I was potentially looking for someone to hire to manage an affiliate program and offer an attractive profit split for someone to setup and manage it.

I guess the idea would be either hiring someone for a freelance project and possibly even looking for a strategic partner for a business.

I know this could easily turn into a spam section so would prefer it not go the direction of people looking for others to sell their ebooks or programs as lets be honest ebooks are a dime a dozen. I used to be a member of WarriorForum which is like an affiliate marketing forum however all sections have turned into people plugging garbage ebooks and programs and selling "turnkey" websites which basically means someone took 2 minutes to setup a template website, buy a domaina and try to flip it for $200.

Just wanted to see if this is allowed as well as if anyone else would find something like this useful?

I'll kick it off. I've gotten a number of crappy ebook covers designed from Fiverr and am thinking my books which sell decent could sell much better with a quality cover so I'm looking for someone to design 4-5 ebook covers, quality not just templates.

I also am potentially looking for someone to manage an affiliate program. I was thinking 60/40 split on profits from affiliates. Business is on track to do about 1.8 mill this year in sales, profit margins vary but as high as 30% at the lowest 18%. Still gotta look into legality of working with affiliates in my industry but I think it should be all good, waiting for confirmation from my attourney.

Feel free to PM me if your interested in helping me with either and hope to find some other opportunities with others.

I second you on this jamaicabound. Having the chance to hire someone or partner with a buddy from here, provided there are skills, experience, and passion and why not, money and future projects is something I d really like to see it happening.

Not a bad idea. I've used a couple of the forum cats for online projects (paid of course) and they did an excellent job.

I'd rather pay for work off of this forum, than Craigslist etc.

Yea and if it could be a private thread/forum that only members could see that'd probably be best.

Yep and should require a minimum number of posts too.

I'm in for this as well. I need a few months more prep before going balls to the wall to get as many clients as I can for my online gig. Right now it's just some work here and there. I'm not sure of the rules here for advertising and doing projects, or if Roosh has posted anything about it. If things go well, I'll probably do a sponsorship on ROK.

The idea has merit, but I'm not sure it warrants a subforum. We had a thread for working together and joint ventures, etc, and frankly, it didn't seem to gain a lot of traction.

Any person here can also create a simple one or two page website advertising services or whatever and slip it in their sig. Or just invite pms in their sigs and forgo the website.

Maybe making it a private subforum would make a difference but hard to say. That would also depend on how those with access were screened.

I agree with BB -- there is absolutely no need to multiply subforums, and private forums are a terrible idea that puts online forums on the road to ruin.

Guys can already post threads of this kind in the Lifestyle subforum and/or communicate via PMs. This does not merit a dedicated space.

same old shit, sixes and sevens Shaft...

There's a thread on here for collaborating on projects already by youngmobileglobal.

I wonder if the locations (referenced here by the previous posters) would be obvious to the newbies, and so I would vote for the subforum

I like the idea off adding the info to your sig, however doesn't that assume that the one interested party will see the sig off the other?

Since we are on the subject, I am looking to hire anyone with a background or experience reading American medical charts (or background in engineering, science, or legal analysis), for a lucrative location independent opportunity, just PM me. Must be a native English speaker

I will be up for this, I need to find a community manager and film maker for a project I am working on. I will be posting a proper advert on here in the future, if it doesn't bypass any moderator guidelines.
