I fought the wall and the wall won: Faye Dunaway tried to hide it

Here she is at 26:

Her time was up in 1977, but nobody said anything. She was only 35(?):

Here she is three years ago, trying to hide her age with makeup. She was 69 or 70 when this was taken:

Not bad for being 70, but she really has to put some effort into it to hide from father time.

Here she is looking like a manlier Cody Lundin. Taken in 2013:

Whoops! Caught looking like an old hag:

It's almost like she kept hitting the wall for forty straight years.

^ I'd just say she's fighting a health issue. Cancer?

Compared to the other starlets of the 1960's, she never struck me as particularly-beautiful in her heyday. The Emma Stone of her day?

I refuse to hate on her. She was so smoking fucking hot in Chinatown and Network. Great acting in those two movies as well.

What do you expect her to look like? She's in her 70s.

yeah, why hate on someone for being old? Most women will not look hot at 70. @35 she is still bangable.

Life, it is a bitch. I still remeber her in Chinatown, she was radiant

Agreed. That being said, what's the cutoff point between saying a chick hit the wall and simply age catching up?

I think she was done at 35, but her picture at 69/70 still looks pretty good for her age. My point is that it's all smoke and mirrors. Personally I think she stretched her look from 35 to 70 without a whole lot of decline, which is pretty remarkable, but she hit round two shortly thereafter.

Women look better when they're younger than when they're older. Only the most deluded cat ladies believes otherwise.

She didn't even look that good when she was 26, why do you think she'd look good at 70-something? The wall is for attractive women who suddenly become unattractive in their 30s/ 40s. Not for every woman who looks old at 70. If it was that way, there wouldn't be any wall survivors, spare a few hundred at most.

Something else to be said for all these "wall survivors":

Her role in Three Days Of The Condor is the most red pill shit I've ever seen in a film. There would be riots in the streets if an actress of her calibur did a film of that size with a subplot and romance like that film has.

But yeah, WNB, except at 26.

I'd say she has been a smoker or heavy partier when young.

I had her hit on me at a Chinese restaurant in Hollywood back in '95 or so...she still looked pretty banging (for a 50 somethin') back then. [Image: smile.gif]

The wall makes me so sad. Last night I was in a college bar and would have fucked 85% of the girls in there. I saw like 5 girls that are all the sexiest girls I've seen in a while.

It is sad to see girls just get fatter and get worse skin over the years...

One case in particular breaks my heart -- one girl in my life who is one of nicest, sweetest girls I've met in a long time just won't be able to be with me long-term because of the wall. I care about her but seeing pictures of her when her skin was nicer and when she was in better shape three years ago actually sends me into a temporary bout of depression. I practically feel jealous of the guys who got to kiss her when she was in her early 20s.

Sadly, she was given the same BS feminist you-can-have-it-all advice and focused on her career and had bad luck with relationships during her youthful years of peak beauty. Now I'm not sure what her future holds for her in terms of her timeline for finding a good guy and maybe starting a family.
