Predictions? Thoughts?

I want the Packers to win but I predict the Steelers will take it out.
The Steelers are quite good at stopping the run, but the Packers are one of the few teams that can put 5 wide-receivers on the field.

the game itself was excellent.

I'm glad the packers won, and I am a huge fan of the NFL's revenue sharing policies and salary cap that keep teams like green bay (metropolitan population of 100,000) competitive with larger market teams (NY, Chicago, etc).

However, everything else sucked. Example:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con...ailarticle

TL;DR version - the state of Texas, which was forced to cut public school funding, spent 31 million dollars on this game. fans paid hundreds to stand outside, fans with tickets were turned away because of fire code violations; $450,000 tax payer dollars spent for a F-18 flyover over the stadium (which is a dome mind you).

Christina Aguilera fucked up the words of the national anthem. the Black eyed Peas just shouted their simple ass music. Ugh

good game though

It's american football. If you don't watch american football, you may find it quite boring.

But, its a million times more entertaining than any baseball game.....like watching paint dry.

I always tell folks that American football is all about using 4 chances (downs) to advance 10 yards. If you fail after 3 chances, then you can kick the ball way downfield on the 4th chance.
