Monaco Data Sheet

Hey guys this is my Monaco Data Sheet.

I just found this forum and was blown away reading all the info here, so I've decided to give back on a place with no data sheet yet.

If you are bothered by bad spelling etc. please soft next this thread until you really need the data or just PM me. I write sloppy en mass.

A bit about Monaco:
Money. They really aren't joking when you come here you need money, although depending on where you go, you can get way more bang for your buck. Whatever you do don’t think that you can go high end here because the true high end is too exclusive to get into on a short time. These guys know how to filter out the Riff Raff.

What I went in with:
I’ve lived there (work) a few times off and on and will say it’s not as bad as you would think if you are an average guy. There are places for the workers to go (even though you could just go to Nice and be a big fish in a small pond for money)
A few hundred euros a night for fun, but it all depends.

Time of the year:
Now Monaco will be pumping at times (I’ve never done the grand prix because everything becomes exclusive), but it can be all right all year long…..On weekends. In the summer you have the tourists coming through and it has a very transient feel. In winter you have the locals who kind of know the place. This can be good and bad because you are fresh meat……..but there are a lot of people protecting their interests. Very clicky.

Caliber of girls:
Eh. The places where the regular people hang out are just that…regular. You will see girls during the day hanging off of some rich millionaire’s arm, but defiantly not a lot of quality that is attainable here.

Where to go:

Stars N Bars:
American food. A bit pricy at 15 euro for pizza or buger but if your starving for American go for it. The crowd is okay and it has never been my favorite spot. On any weeknight you can go here and there will be people. Large bar area. Some video games in the back and upstairs seating. Has more of a diner feel then pickup scene. Beer 7 euro cocktails 10 ish

La Rascas…..I swear it’s my second home. This is the place for the average guy to pick up and spend his days in Monaco. The dynamic is super interesting because you have the locals. The people that work on the yachts, and the people that come in to mix with the slightly poorer crowd (cougers). A solid place to play game even though it is small. You can get away with a lot in here and can guarantee there will be a good amount of people here on the weekends. Weekdays can be hit or miss but you should always check! If you have a place to stay that is a bonus because all the girls on the yachts haven’t’ gotten off of them in months probably, but they are surrounded by everybody they work with most likely (slut shaming) and often have a work curfew(during the summer). Mixed drinks..10+euro. They have beer specials really early that are cheep. Bottle service of Absolute vodka is 110euro…maby 130 so much cheeper then drinks.

Mcnolands. A ways near the outskirts of Monaco. And a walk away from the waterfront east underneath the famous grand prix tunnel. It’s an Irish bar that no longer feels very Irish (its actually clean after the 2012 renovations).
You will see the poorer crowd come here that are doing conventions in town. Interesting people but not worth it too often unless it’s St. Patty’s day. This place can get busy, but the bar space is not that big with a lot of tables and booths. Where is the bench seating!

Life! Night club.
There are two sections when you go in. to the left is VIP. Eh lot of coke and some decently hot chicks bottle service is fucking crazy. To the right you go in with more normal people.

Buda bar.
Located just below the casino. You will see tones of Pro hookers in here. Eh its fun to see but mostly people here are either buying girls (to be found in the back left side of the bar) or just showing off. Shit for pickup imo

Sass Café:
More of a lounge (small side) with a dance floor
Drinks are expensive and there are TONNES of high class ish hookers. Pickup is … eh it’s interesting but not great for pickup. Cool to see and pop a bottle with friends. The small atmosphere is kinda cool. You will be starred down by pro’s all night.

This is a quick spit up of some info on Monaco.
Guys need any more info before you go, let me know.

Very interesting datasheet on a location that hasn't really been covered yet.

Out of curiosity, are you a local of Monaco or just working there?

Thanks mate. I had a job working for someone and they spent time in Monaco. Most of my time there was working......pretty much all my time there was working, so I barley got to go out during the day, but I do know the Nightlife

I'm straight up from North America so my french is Shit. Basics like parle vous english and some conversation but its all not needed in Monaco.

I only would be in Monaco for brief stints and my accomidation would be handled, so I am no help on appartments or anything.

If you want a cheep hotel. The ambassador is usually your best bet at about 100 euros a night for a cheep room that isn't nasty. As far as I know, there are no cheaper rooms (belive me i've looked) in monaco.

A taxi to Nice France will run you about 80 euro......ya and the train stops running out of monaco at about 11.17 hehe I've missed it if you can't tell trying to make it to Nice (I spent some time there after and would go back to Monaco on the occasional weekend because I had freinds there)

There are a lot of places to go and Monaco can be a BLAST for people watching.
Sit up top by the casino (IMO the casino is not worth it. Really small and not that impressive. Go to say you went.) In the Cafe out front and watch the cars and people go bye.

I liked it when we were in Nice much over Monaco

Thanks for the Rep guys.

Great first post. If you weren't staying in Monaco itself, but in the area, say Nice, would it be worth spending a lot of time in Monaco, or just stick to Nice? For non-multi-millionaires/billionaires.

Also out of curiosity. Is it possible for non-Monegasque working people to actually live in Monaco itself if working there? Or would it make more sense to live in France, pay the damn taxes, and sill come out ahead since you're paying so much less in rent?

Yes stay in Nice. I lived there and there are a tone of places to go and way more down to earth people. I'd do a data sheet but i'm buisy and there are already ones for the area.

Nice has ghettos and really nice areas it's an actual city. Stick to old town for nightlife. I'm not a huge fan of Nice, but it has enough to offer. Tonnes more then Monaco for anyone not hiding from taxes.

Like I said, I've never actually paid rent while i was there or Nice, but I say just stick to Nice France or outskirts of Monaco.
I have known people that live in monaco as expats doing things, but you really should just go to France. The line between them is invisible exept for tax reasons. Reserved for the ultra rich.

THAT BEING SAID
My data sheet is for if you want to go to Monaco. There are tonnes of fun places. The brazzarie (spelling wrong) is right next to La rascas and is a blast on weekends. Food is shit IMO. All these places are fun and you can pull. For the low end places I mentions, flashing cash isn't neccecary. Go be chill and talk to a bunch of people with different stories.
Monaco is worth a visit because it's Monaco. Lose 200 euros at the casino james bond rocked and take a chip home for a souvenir.
