By giving him constructive criticism on his style and such is how we can help him improve.

Yes, I am actually the fashion police, PM me and I'll happily give you style advice for free. Seriously. Anyway, it's just constructive criticism, you're being overly sensitive and literally sound like a woman when you accuse of us of making him feel insecure. Any high school senior worth his salt can take a guy on the internet telling him to get a better haircut and buy some pimple cream.

I've known about "the red pill" since I was younger than he is now, I still remember very clearly what it's like to be that age and be in the situation he's in (dying relationship, teen angst, unsure about the future etc.) so I'd like to see him improve very much, and the first things we should start with to help are 1. his appearance and 2. his depression since those are the problem areas that are obvious to us so far.

Exactly - one of the signs that you can spot a Game-aware man or Player is by looking at his style and his bearing. Most have optimized their looks and bodies to a high degree. Even if you study IT you can have a cool hairdo and hit the gym to Schwarzenegger-up. Recently a buddy and me - we noticed one such guy on a busy street and we wondered if he was part of the "community".

Since we ourselves went out for some Daygame we were curious if he was one of us, since he was just standing there looking at the girls passing by. Squats and deadlifts. Head over to the Lifestyle thread and read up and check out http://www.stronglifts.com. Follow that program for a year and then report back.

At present, you have to consciously tighten your abs, lats, glutes, and move your pelvis forward and pull your shoulders back. You're not going to stay in this position obviously. Hitting the gym and doing compound lifts for a couple years will take care of most of this for you, and the earlier you start, the better. Talk to any guy here; we all wish we started sooner.

Please - there are plenty of Master PUAs who have inherited way worse looks than yours. Your genetic basics are not as bad as you may think - nothing that workout, diet and a bit of fashion cannot fix. Unless you are 5'5" or shorter you will be fine in the US. And even if you are that short, you can always move to Asia and still come out on top.
