Cool Tech Stuff

Couldn't find a thread for this kind of thing, so here goes..

I don't usually geek out over tech stuff, but this really is every boy's childhood dream come alive.

A flying dune buggy.

It looks like something that could have been designed in the past, so I don't know why it took them so long to figure something like this out. Very simple design, but could have so many practical and fun uses.

That is awesome. If I owned that I'd have an inclination to yell "COBRAAAAA!!!" every few minutes while driving or flying. Destro would be jealous.

They're in development right now, so you can't really buy one yet. I think it's hovering with the help of ground effect, so probably can't fly high up. Would be fun to get a couple boys together and take those things out for a spin over rough terrain exploring shit.
