Where to next?

Have had a great time in Montreal (about a month) but lost the last few days to flu.

I've got a ticket back home for tomorrow with Air Canada but thinking of cancelling it because I don't feel ready to go home yet.

I'm thinking about going to either New York, Miami or Vegas.

I've been to New York and Vegas before but with friends and girlfriend (at the time). For a solo well dressed 36 year old with cash, which one do you recommend? Are there any other cities I should consider?

Thanks in advance!

I've lived in New York for years and I've visited Miami and Vegas for vacation before. I'd say New York and Vegas are the best places to go for vacation. I didn't particularly like Miami, but maybe others here could shed light on their opposite experiences. Definitely check out the city if you're going to New York, I have no idea why else you would visit anyways.

Vegas is also awesome. There's so much to do there, look up everything you want to do before you go, don't just go and start looking things up, you have to plan it out. My personal favorite is NYC, but I have a bias towards it. Have fun!

Thanks Earth! Am leaning towards either extending here for a week or New York or Vegas. I've been reading the Miami data sheets and it seems a bit fierce for me.

Where to next?

Chicago in the summer

Festivals galore

Cool nightlife

Outdoor concerts (Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Lolapolooza)

Beautiful, approachable women

Ethnic foods

Less expensive than L.A. or N.Y.

Thank me later...

I second this. I've been to Chicago a couple times now and there's still a ton of stuff I haven't done. Lots of shit to do/see during the day, and a lot of clubs stay open till 5 or 6 am. One of the most interesting cities I've ever been to. But yeah, definitely a better time in the summer.
