Gaming Options in Canada's Military

A query regarding serving in the military, but more specifically tailored to Canadian servicemen:

As a member of the army specifically, the chances of being stationed somewhere away from major urban centres are significant.

As a soldier living on base with weekends off, where gaming women you work with can land you in a heap of trouble, what other options does a young man have to game cute girls?

Is there a solution other than driving 3-5 hours to a city to solely be able to run game at night and stay in hotels? (not sustainable on a private's salary).

Is the military just a massive cockblock by it's inherent nature?

Speculation is great, but this post is looking for some first/second-hand experience.

Thanks

The problem with the Canadian military is that there is an extremely high likelihood of being stationed someone cold and remote. That's really the big reason that I'm not considering it seriously as a career option.

Why would you be stationed so far north and what would you do there?

It seems like its the US military during peacetime.

Game is the difference between a broke average looking dude in a 2nd tier city turning bad bitch feminists into maids and fucktoys and a well to do lawyer with 50x the dough taking 3 dates to bang broads in philly.

I don't like the odds of ending up somewhere lousy.

Some of these places wouldn't be bad, but you do not have much control over where you are stationed, so the risk is high that you'll end up hating a decade of your life.

If you are a big city type like me, it's probably not an ideal career direction to go in.

The Navy bases are all in tier 2 Canadian cities with decent prospects (Victoria, St John's, Halifax)

I've been in the Canadian Forces, Army, for 4 years. In all Class A, B and C. Have been to CFB Edmonton and Shilo...

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll answer them as best I can.

Capt. Chardonnay, that's just the sort of answer I was looking for.

I've done my research and jumped through the application hoops, waiting on the job offer now. Believe me , I have no misconceptions of what I'm getting into, I suppose it's just the direction my moral compass points.

I believe I have a strong enough graps on my personal integrity and "red-pill-ness" that I would not be too manipulated by the beta sadists and rank-rapers that have no doubt climbed the hierarchical ladder. Do your job and then bullshit about it to your mates.
I've found that working with blue-collar sorts you develop a thick skin out of necessity.

Again, helluva reply. +1 to you; my faith in the RVF is once again bolstered.

out.

This is true, but depending on your role in the navy, you do have the added risk of getting stuck on a ship here and there, which for most guys is seriously going to interfere with gaming prospects.

I have not specific knowledge of the CF in this aspect, however. It's entirely possible that ships are volunteer only.

Im working with a guy right now who joined the Canadian Military when he was young.

Has all good things to say about the experience. He was in communications.

He got some drilling work when he left and has gone on to Direction drilling fast because of his army exp.

Made 200k last year and is 25. Got a lot of girls along the way too.

Id go for it based on what he said.

Most contracts are around 3-years; a small price to pay to represent our country. I figure I can learn some valuable skills and just focus on maximizing my fitness.

I thought DD'ing was something that required patch experience? Or does it boil down to just being basically professionally competent?

Thanks for the feedback.

It is going to be a massive cockblock.

Chances are that you will be stationed somewhere remote, or the "city" that you are stationed in is really just a town where its economy feeds of the army base....
In which case. You will go to a bar in town, and it will be filled with other soldiers. This is shit for so many reasons.
Mainly because every soldier thinks he is the toughest guy in the room. Mix that with a few hours of drinking and its never going to end good.
Also, all the girls will be soooo fucking sick of dating soldiers.
Then there are the girls that have had a one night stand with a soldier back at the base... She would no doubt be ridiculed by all the soldiers hooting n hollering at her as she does her walk of shame off the base. Yeah, they rarely come back. Unless they want to get gang banged by a bunch of soldiers.

The less fucks you give, the more fucks you get.

One of my friends in high school joined the navy. Guy got based out of Victoria I'm assuming because he's from BC. I see pictures on his facebook of him sailing around the world now docking in different ports and partying hard. Don't think he has tight game though.

The order for quality of life is army, navy, then airforce. At least in the navy or airforce you're sure you'll have at least a bunk to sleep in at night.

Also worth mentioning is that the best for gaining civil qualifications is Air force, Navy then Army.

Well, I can only talk for the Australian forces. But I am going to assume its similar elsewhere.
