Europe Datasheet and Adventures

After seeing a number of posts requesting information on Europe/European Travels, I thought I'd drop some data. It's going to cover gaming, safety, modes of travel, nature, where to stay, and a number of other things.

Prologue: Warning gents, this thing is rather long, but I'm sure you'll find a lot of points to help with your adventures over there. Some of it will be obvious, but assuming some people reading this have never traveled much, I wanted to gear it towards them as well.
While not an end all/be all, I think a trip abroad as a lone wolf or with a good wingman, is good for the growth of any man. No more excuses fellas.

I only spent 3-6 days in every city I went to, and as I said didn't know about RVF until my last 4 months. I'll try to give my best breakdown to help you navigate, but can't provide a lot of specifics on exact venues, because of lack of time, not writing things down, and at times being rather drunk. If you PM me about a specific location, I could probably tell you a few things, but for the most part I'll keep it fairly general on this datasheet.

What's your goal/motivation:
Do you want to stay in 1 city, 1 particular country hitting up many cities, or do you want to hit every country you can? For most on here I'd venture to say, banging a girl who's either traveling or a local is a top priority. While I definitely don't disagree with that, I'd encourage doing a few more things than focusing on nightlife/banging. I'm saying this from experience. In Romania I saw nothing but their night sky, bars, clubs and late eats, and I had one hell of a good time. However, I enjoy history, culture, and good food, so I kinda regret missing out on that.

How long should you stay:
Even though I never stayed this long, if you really want to get a feel for a place and the people, I think a month in a small country or in one big city would suffice. Roosh, Greek K, Fisto, Vicious, and many others can probably speak more to this.

If you want to get to know the "basics" of a city, AND bang a girl I think 5, maybe 6 nights is a MINIMUM. Obviously you'll need to be prepared to put in A LOT of work, and even assuming your game is on point, nothing is a guarantee as we all know. Here's something Roosh wrote about banging in 5 days. http://www.rooshv.com/how-to-get-a-flag-...pipelining
But M'bare, can you fuck a girl the 1 day/night you're in a city? Yes of course, but I think 5 or 6 days is a good minimum to shoot for, assuming your game is fairly good (difficult to define I know) to score a bang. If your game is subpar, you may need a few weeks.

Just for visiting a city to do some sightseeing, and maybe get the bang, 2-3 nights max. I've never understood staying more than 3 nights in a city JUST for the sightseeing. If it seems there's potential to fuck a girl, well that's the only reason I can justify extending your stay.

A good combo is to see a few main tourist things, go to a restaurant the LOCALS frequent to try the traditional food, go out to the bars/clubs, talk with locals, meet a girl and bang her. And call it what you will, but hop on/hop off buses are good for seeing the main sights, not to mention day game.

Getting around:
Flying-use Skyscanner. Just simply the best way to search for flights.
Budget Airlines I can recommend-Air Baltic, Wizz Air, EasyJet.
Just be aware that budget airlines require that you check-in online before and having your boarding pass. Also, they'll charge extra for checked bags. If you're a light traveler they're pretty badass for the low fares.
Search different days, and from main cities, and sometimes you'll save yourself some cash.

CITY CENTER. A lot of my travels were on fairly short notice, with only a flight booked. No real plan. I'd take a taxi or train to the city center and go from there. Walking around and finding a hotel was not that big of a deal in Europe. You can almost never go wrong staying in the city center. I'll breakdown a strategy for larger cities for choosing where to stay in the Game section.

Trains VS Flights. Training is easy and MUCH better than in the U.S. On a train you can meet people (captive audience), have dinner, chill, sleep, whatever. However, check the distance between your destination, and decide if you want to spend 6 or so hours on a train. You can see the country side and what not, but it sucks up hours away from the city obviously. Honestly if it's a train ride longer than 6 hours I'd fly. But that's mainly because I hate being bound up in one place that long. Then the other obvious stuff like a train is cheaper and you don't have to go through security, etc. And buses fall into this category as well, one big difference obviously being less space, ammenities, and less gaming opportunity. No doubt game on trains and airplanes. I fucked a few girls I met from airplane game. Hell, I made out with some Italian girl after going our separate ways after a 1.5 hour flight, and almost talked her into banging in the airport, had we found a private area.

Traveling Alone:
I recently wrote on a members post about this. Just do it. About half of my travels were alone, from Ireland all the way to Serbia. Before Europe I would have never really considered going to a bar or club alone, let alone travel. Solo game and travel are, in my opinion, are a must for any guy looking to grow their game, and overall who they are. I simply enjoyed doing my own thing, not only with nightlife but sightseeing as well. While there are benefits to having a wing, as we know there are also drawbacks. A few basic points I learned solo traveling/gaming:
-I usually met more people
-I was invited to hang with groups of people more often
-You can no doubt still get the bang
Perhaps it's not not for everyone, but then again you'll never know until you try.

Where to stay:
I prefer hotels or private apartments. The only thing with private apartments is that you usually have a 3 day minimum. I only stayed in 1 hostel my entire time there. Not a huge fan, but that's probably because I'm older and my bankroll allowed me to stay in the former. Maybe I didn't give hostels enough of a chance...who knows. Just be aware they usually have strict visitor rules even if you manage to get your own room, so you may be relegated to banging someone who's also staying there. Also if you're traveling alone, you will definitely have a group of people to go out with. The one hostel, Kabul in Barcelona, I stayed in had some partying mother fuckers.
Hotel Continental-Brno, Czech Republic
Life Design Hotel-Belgrade, Serbia
Old Waverley-Edinburgh, Scotland
Europa Royale, Vilnius, Lithuania
Hampshire Inn, Eindhoven Netherlands
Queens Court Hotel and Residence-Budapest, Hungary (The nicest 5-star I've ever been in for the price, highly recommended)
Boscolo Hotel, Budapest (Expensive, but very classy/nice 5 star)
Cavallino D'Oro, Italian Alps
Black Tower Apartments-Reykjavik, Iceland
Kabul Hostel-Barcelona, Spain
I stayed in too many Radisson Hotels to remember all of the places, but Radisson hotels were for the most part on point, and had good proximity to nightlife, etc. I can say the nicest Radisson I stayed in was in Bucharest, Romania and Riga, Latvia.
This is just a small list of places that I could remember or found old receipts for. All were good for my needs at the time. They ranged from 3 to 5 stars, some were amazing, others were just simply a place to stay and had good location to everything. I list them because I didn't have anything necessarily negative to say about them.

Festivals:
If you're going to Europe for an extended time, search out music and cultural festivals and try to match them up with your travels. Those were some damn good times...I saw Radiohead in Prague, and The Black Keys and Pearl Jam in Holland to name a few. If you like EDM, there are a shit ton of festivals there.
A few festivals I went to:
Rockin Park. Nijmegen, Netherlands
Pink Pop. Landgraff, Netherlands (Three days of camping, music, after parties, 70,000 people) Didn't get a bang at that festival, but did help wing my insta-dutch friend who fucked his girl. Mine only let me get my dirty little fingers wet.
Hyde Park, London-Always shit going on there.
A buddy of mine told me about any amazing music festival in Gdansk, Poland in the summer-Can't remember the name, but could be worth checking out.

Also there's massive party around Lake Balaton in Hungary, called Balaton Sound.
Other festivals that could be of interest: Positivus in Latvia and Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik.
I regret not going to Octoberfest. I heard from many people it was a wild time.

Hiking/ski/snowboard/nature:
In Sicily you can hike and ski/snowboard on Mt. Etna (Volcano) Most active volcano in Europe actually, so you may even see it erupt if you go. I saw it erupt maybe 15 times.
-Alps-I had a blast of a time going to the Dolomiti to snowboard. Obviously the Alps encompass Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France. If you're a mountain person, just go.
-Lake Bled, Slovenia
-Heves Thermal Lake, Hungary
I didn't go, but there are 16 Lakes, Croatia that looked rather amazing in photos.
Obviously there are loads of places for nature, hiking, etc. in Europe so I won't say anymore about it. It was never my focus, but I did enjoy the hell out of it when I did go. There are also some interesting castles all over Europe. (Romania, Scotland, and Germany come to mind)

Safety basics:
Basically use common sense/street smarts. If you have no situational awareness then perhaps travel with someone. Honestly I think you'd be more likely to get involved in a violent crime in the States than anywhere in Europe. Just my simple take based on where I went. Regarding fights, I only almost got in a fight with some French Belgium, but other than that I was about other things, and avoided that bullshit. Unless it absolutely needs to be done, there's just no reason to bring that attention to yourself and worse yet end up badly hurt/killed. And like I said, I was alone or with one other person traveling all over. Don't get super shit faced, especially if traveling alone, and use common sense. Religion or politics comes up... "na, don't care..I'm here to have fun."

I'd leave my passport in my room, hidden of course, and never had a problem with people asking to see it. My understanding is that in Ukraine cops have asked people for their passport, but I never had an issue with it.
Be careful with your ATM pin codes, and which ATMs you use. I prefer to use the ones in the bank or hotel. Despite that, somehow my ATM/Bank account was hijacked twice. Make sure you have maximum daily withdraws and let your bank know you're going out of country.
Use cash when going out, and keep everything in your front pockets.
Don't get hustled by taxi drivers. Always use official/marked taxis, and make sure the meter is running. If possible, go to the kiosk in the airport or train station and get a taxi voucher in there.
If you really want to have more security, have your countries embassy number and address ready in phone.

Nightlife/gaming/basic tips:
I have to agree with Roosh, when he wrote something to the effect of, "if you can't get laid in your own country, it's not necessarily going to be easier in another one." From an American perspective, girls in Europe aren't just throwing themselves on you necessarily. That's not to say it wouldn't happen, especially in Iceland for example, but the point is that it's not the norm. You still need to put in the "work." You still need game and decent enough bankroll to put yourself in the action.

Bare in mind, as I've said before, I didn't know about or have much game per say before moving to Europe. I'd still get laid before Europe based on a few other attributes I had, and still have, but I wouldn't say I had a lot of game.

With that being said, I made strides and did fairly well. I'm writing this almost 1 year ago since returning to the States, so that's what I'm basing my comparison on. I think in Europe you can have more of a "most interesting guy in the room", conversation and charisma game, and it be much more effective than in the States. In the States you need game that's more edgy and asshole-like, generally speaking. This is of course not groundbreaking news for most.

To break it down even more, in my opinion light banter, jokes, confidence/slight cockiness, having fun, and dressing well will open up many doors to success with women in Europe. Heavy banter, passing shit test, and cockiness will open up your success in the States. Neither of these basic methods/traits are absolutes of course, but just a difference I've noticed since being back. I think if you have the traits that make you successful with American girls, you'll probably do just fine in Europe. Now that I'm in the States, I feel to some degree that developing my style of game over there, has hindered me slightly with the Cali girls. I've been adjusting, and had success, but will admit I still have some work to do. I'd say the main thing is that, for lack of better terms, my European style of game was more consistent and successful, than here in the States. However, I have been to a few other cities around the States and pulled on short trips, so who knows...maybe it's just SoCal. It is what it is...adapt and overcome.

As a sidebar comment, I miss how fun and usually pleasant it was talking to European girls, as compared to American girls. It's fairly well documented and known that some of these American girls can be some nasty bitches, that will bring out the worst in you. I don't mind rejection and shit test to a degree. I charge it to the game, and honestly have fun with it since I'm wit is sharper than women. But what I cannot accept is disrespect or a disrespectful attitude. Even more so, a girl who thinks she can put her hands, in a non-playful way obviously, on you like they own you. I don't want to turn this into an American Girl Hate thread, but I had some shit go down recently and maybe I'll tell my story on another post.

Question for anyone: Do any of the European players out there feel you must change your gaming methods when you travel to the States?

Because I'm trying to keep this general, I won't say anymore about gaming in Europe as a whole. As we all know, it's very difficult to sum up how best to game in so many countries. Besides that, we all have varying styles and different levels of game. A club or city I killed it in, may be the antithesis to your perfect pussy paradise. If you want more specifics, obviously the forum as many datasheets and Roosh has his books that breakdown countries.

However, I'll say this about regions:
Southern European regions like Spain and Italy are great. Great for coastlines, history, and food. They do have some amazing women, but it's not an easy place to game and the language barrier will kill you if you don't speak their language. I'd say if you're gaming in Italy, I think my Sicily breakdown could apply to the rest of Italy as well. In Rome or Florence you'll probably bang a tourist or student. One of the few American girls I banged while living there was in Bologna. She was working as an au pair. Like I said, there are definitely some beautiful women there, but the work you have to put in will probably be greater than in other countries, and maybe more than it's worth.

Don't disregard Eastern or Central Europe. That was by far my favorite region, and the place that will afford you to have the best ratios, and chance to meet the most beautiful and feminine women. Besides that, I just enjoyed the overall vibe, architecture, nightlife, etc. more there than any other region.

Location, location, location. Gaming principle 101 for abroad or home.
If you want to give yourself the best chance to get laid, you need to be at MOST no more than 4 or 5 blocks from the nightlife. If you arrive in a city with no plans, just find something in the center. City centers are never a bad place to start, especially if it's small like Vilnius for example. If you're a little more anal about planning, do a little research on which streets or districts have most of the bars and clubs, and find a hotel/apt there. When doing a google search, keep in mind some countries call clubs "discos", and club tends to mean stripclub. And if you can't afford to stay close to the nightlife, I'd almost say don't go. Just know you've been warned.

Nighlife preparation on the move:
Preparation and anticipation are key. Minimize excuses, seconds thoughts, and last minute resistance.
I'd always have a small bottle of vodka and mixers ready everywhere I traveled. I'd also buy a few snacks like chips or pretzels. I think the alcohol is obvious...It also keeps the interaction/experience going. It's well known you do not let a girl eat a big meal after clubbing, because it will greatly decrease your chance of the bang. If she says "I'm hungry" you can respond, "no worries, I have some food, let's go." Never mind it's only a snack. It's just an excuse to get past them wanting to stop at some place. Lastly make sure you set your computer, tv, phone or whatever with a playlist of music you can put on as soon as you get back to the after party you're about to throw. Do whatever you can to make your "place" the new party place, whether it be for you, your wing and two girls, or just the two of you. Keep the party vibe going.

If you don't have logistics on your side, because you were cheap with your hotel, or decided to check out a club in the outer region of the city, at least get a good taxi number and have it saved and ready to use for quick extraction. You don't want to waste time trying to wave a taxi down. p.s. Don't get in unmarked taxis. Also, tell them where you want to go and be prepared to negotiate a price. Again minimizing time in between the club/bar and your room is incredibly important. Give them time to think, and your night may end without a girl in your bed.

Be prepared for late nights...places just simply stay open late in Europe. I can't recall how many times I partied until the sun came up. Also, in the mediterranean expect to have dinner around 9 or 10, get to the club around 1230/1 and things to not really get going until 2 or 3. Have a 5 hour energy ready, or take a nap before you roll out. Since you've prepared your room or rental apartment, always suggest an after party. There are also less rules in general in Europe. Police usually don't bother you unless you're doing something really stupid.

Clubs in general:
I'd compare them to Vegas. And the largest most extravagant club I went to, Bamboo in Bucharest, Romania had more going on than any Vegas club I've been too. Not a dig at Vegas, but just so you have an understanding.
Bottle service? A few times, it no doubt would have helped, other times it was a complete waste of time and my wing and I should have been on the move. Overall, I'd say fuck bottle service when traveling with only 1 other guy, on a short trip.
Bamboo was also the club that my wing and I experienced the biggest bitch shields.

Direct VS Indirect and Day VS Night game:
Sorry but I'll keep this short, because the answer is that they all worked. I leaned more towards night game and direct, especially on my short trips. Just like Lifestyle VS Game, you really need both. Read the situation, figure out your mood, and adapt to decide what's best.

When out and about gaming, save a girls name and number in your phone RIGHT away. Of course use your instincts and discretion, as in you're not going to just say "hi, nice to meet you what's your number?" I'd usually just pull my phone out and say something like, "here put your number in here." Obviously if things are going well, go for the ONS. The point is, is that it's not always possible to secure a ONS because of a multitude of reasons, so don't wait until the end of the night. Don't wait for that moment to occur where her friends cockblock you. Get the number as soon as it's appropriate, so you don't miss out on success with second meeting/follow-up date. I screwed myself over, by not getting a number as soon as possible, or by being an asshole in the end. I had a few drunk moments where I wrote girls off if they didn't want to bang that night, which by the way is not the way to go. Had I played it cool, I probably could have banged them in the following days because enough interest had been built. Just be cool, and use the next day or two to take them out (isolate them) and make it happen.

Language barriers:
Italy, Spain and Belgium were the worst countries I went to for language barriers.

Second Tier Cities:
Yes and yes again. If I had to do it over again, I would have done more 2nd tier and for sure 3rd tiers. Catania, Sicily could probably be considered 7th or 8th tier city, and I had a lot of success there. Eindhoven, Netherlands had a surprisingly vibrant student population and the longest stretch of bars in that country.

Another one is my biggest recommendation, which is Brno, Czech Republic. Naughty nomad wrote something about it, but I'm in complete disagreement. I went in the winter time around March, and it was a little dead during the week, but the weekend was good to go. For the size, there were many young college girls walking around, and plenty of nightlife on the weekends as I said. It's not terribly exciting for other things, but it's a nice looking city overall. Keeping in mind, this was one of my last trips, so I'm comparing it to all of my other experiences, and I still give it top remarks. There were very few tourist, girls were friendly and approachable during the day, at night, and I had a number of them open me up, or give me such strong IOI, I'd have to be doing the goddamn Bernie not to notice. All in all, I banged 2 locals in 5 days. Had I stayed 1 more night, I probably could have met up with a third girl I met and number closed in a KFC. Again, maybe others wouldn't find it to be so, but so far that has been my pussy paradise.

And finally and as always, have fun, flirt like a mother fucker, and just go for it. Remember, if you're not fucking her, she'll find someone who will. Make it happen, and build the experience.

Good datasheet but language barriers in Belgium?? Absolutely everyone speaks English there unless you go to some village in the south side of the country. Bitchshields more likely.

Agreed on Club Kabul being full of hard partyers, "cocaine fridays" was something that was talked about alot. I had one of the craziest weekends of my life in that place.

Good deal though, from what I remember I paid 30 euro a night for a dorm room with a balcony looking out to Placa Reial which included three meals through the day. Great place to meet young travellers and they bring you out to the main clubs. That said, when I go back I'll probably stay in Barceloneta.

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought so either! I was staying in the main square, and most people working in restaurants had poor English language skills. I was on there for 1 day/night, and part of the next day however. That was my take. Fantastic looking city and amazing beer nonetheless.

A few other things I remembered:
Get an international plan for your phone, or anticipate getting a SIM card in whatever country you're in. They're usually 15 to 25 dollars. Also get the app whatsapp installed on your phone.

Have some basic understanding of the exchange rates wherever you go. Pay in cash at bars/clubs. Eastern Europe is not on the Euro.

For good beer: Belgium and Czech Republic

Friendliest people: Netherlands and Bulgaria

Cities with the most charm: Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, Budapest, Edinburgh, Reykjavik.

Best nightlife: Berlin, Catania, Bucharest, Budapest, Prague, Kiev, Iceland (thur-Sat). Malta has good nightlife, but it's a really young crowd, lots of fights...etc. But it's still a good time and I'd recommend their booze cruises. And I recall that most cities, even smaller ones like Vilnius, and Tallinn had good clubs/nightlife.

I will point out some specifics about Vilnius that I happen to recall.
-Bistro 18 is a great restaurant.
-Studio 9 has major potential, and I'd recommend it. The second time I went, I number closed a girl, and took her there for no particular reason, other than it came up in a google search. It's out of the main area a little bit, but had a great vibe. Center bar, restaurant, outside area and a DJ. It was a great blend of restaurant/club/lounge, and that place had great ratios.

In Tallinn I recall a place called Butterfly Lounge that also had a lot of talent and great ratios.

Cheapest: Bulgaria and Hungary

Most Expensive: Sweden and England

Most memorable museums:
Torture museum, Malta
Vasa Museum, Stockholm (This is an amazing wooden battle ship, and the museum was the most researched, and interesting museums I've ever been in)
Sex Museum, Prague
Of course I can't leave out the Vatican Museum, Rome for obvious reasons.

Lots of history and/or tourist things to do per square mile: Malta, Sicily, and Iceland.

Least favorite city for nightlife and the people: Stockholm, Sweden.

And of course the most attractive women: Romania, Ukraine, Iceland, Sicily, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary and specifically Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

Going to Glasgow this summer. Any experiences there?

Mbare, good posts. You didn't mention how old you are and your bankroll. Those two things will have a HUGE impact on how fellow RVF members will do in Europe. For example it would be a waste of time for the most part for a 42 year old to stay at a hostel and hit up nightclubs vs. a 22 year old. It would come across as creepy and age factor would be hard to overcome [Image: sad.gif]
Also, some cities in Europe require major cash flow to enjoy properly, for example Moscow, Geneva and Helsinki, so one shouldn't expect too much on a shoe string budget.

Jackflag, didn't make it to Glasgow. Edinburgh was the only place in Scotland I went to.

TripleG, yeah I agree with what you're bringing up. 8000/month, 31 years old.

I was just in Glasgow recently and had an absolute blast. The people were awesome when I was able to understand them (I'm from America). There for three days and went 1 for 2 on nights going out. Not too bad. I liked Glasgow more than Edinburgh although I was in Edinburgh during the week. It was a lot more touristy, but there are people from all over there.

I don't have the time to pull up the info now, but there is pretty much all the info you need on Glasgow on other threads. Just search Glasgow and you should find them.

Here's another little tool to help you all get around Europe. http://www.seat61.com

Addendum: I put some of my experiences/adventures and successes in here to add a little color to the data sheet. The stories I told are rather tame compared to others I had. I'll add, especially to the young Gs and inexperienced members here, that with the success came a lot of failure too. A lot of shitty approaches, failed conversions and so on. It was roughly a 2 or 3 year process of mad approaching and learning from others, before I even felt fairly good.

I was teaching a course the other day, and was thinking about the first time I was up in front of a class, and teaching something. I honestly sucked, even though I knew the material really well. It's the same with game. People on here have said it before, and i'll say it again. Knowing about game is no substitute for actually getting out there and approaching. You may never reach an ultra player status, but you will improve in many ways if you stick to it.
