However, even though I previously identified as a feminist, she never did, for good reason -- she worked 3 jobs out of necessity, not because it made her feel liberated. She wanted me to be smart, get a good job and marry a feminine woman, not a 'self-actualized' one who played at what she did for years in order to pay the bills."
